Pro-tec or Mono Gig-Bags- Anyone use either of them?

Ive no experience of the mono or protec, but i use an igig which marks doing a bass direct, i love it, loads of storage ( even room for a small amp, itll be snug though) reinforced body like the mono, has tons of padding inside, also has a neck pillow for keeping the neck secure, and a tough flap for covering the body inside, very sturdy indeed, and mines o funky retro tweed which makes me look like a "gentleman funkster" -
Just bought the most gorgeous spector CRFM5 from Frank, arrived very quickly in a great case and packed superbly, communication was second to none and a more thoroughly decent bloke you,ll not meet, had a couple of nce chats with him over the phone, so im sure he,s made no money on the bass. Thanks Frank love the spector and im positive were going to be very happy together, your a gent - lee

Dont go mental pricewise, i case you dont take to it, going to a 5 doesnt take much time ut it will feel strange at first (and you might keep playing the B as an E) a yamaha TRB5 is good value ( especially the one just sold on here) the spector Euro on here is a bloody good price, ive just taking delivery of one absoutely gorgeous im dead chuffed- hope your search goes well - lee

I was very close to getting this myself, id want to stick a pre amp in though , gone for a natural spector, coz im a lazy so and so and mine has an east preamp in, as the OP states its a blank canvas at a very good price, hope you dont mind me hijacking but same as some other chatters, i have an EMG BTS circuit, with a seprate vol,blend, treb,bass ( the treble has 4 selectable freqs) which would complement this fine bass, i dont want alot for it either. Massive bump for this great bass!!! -
My second deal, with this nice young chap, just bought his OC3 octaver, delivered straight away via next day recorded, i havent played it yet though coz i wast in and have to get it from the depot recommended!!

hmmmm!!! I really fancy that nordstrand preamp ive nordstrands in my jazz and the EMG circuit i have in it is a bit too clinical sounding for my tastes ( it sounded ok when i had EMG pickups in it though) very skint due to just buying a new bass and octave pedal and new DR,S , i might start dropping xmas hints -
Is that the 4 knob one with the passive tone, if so i may be interested!!

Just sold my beloved Ken smith to Rob ( the lucky fella) he paid almost imediately via bank transfer and showed a lot of trust in doing so!!! Great comms and a lovely guy to deal with and chat too, wouldve been quite happy to meet up for a beer and talk bass rubbish all day . Deal with complete confidence, highly recommended- thanks again Rob enjoy the smith!!

these are absolutely fantastic cabs i had one for a while, but it was too big for the gigs im doing ,so had to go with smaller/lighter solution, i still miss it though as the little cabs just dont do the RAWWKK!! stuff as well, my favourite 4x10 by a country mile!! whoever gets this is getting a bargain!!
