The body looks wrong to me, the horns are similar to the old lyte basses, but no! looks like a mongrol to me, i,d avoid especially at that price, much better MIJ alternatives have been available for less money!! - LEE

I love treating my fingerboards with lemon oil, my jazz especially comes up really nice!!!, my ken smith has a pau ferro fingerboard, but ive not used any on that yet! Dave (essential tension) a small word of warning, if your using it on the WAV the fingerboard is actually dyed, i gave it a clean with some dunlop guitar polish and a load of it came off, to show a lighter coloured wood underneath (prob still ebony just not jet black) just a thought mate!! all the best, remember lads when it comes to lemon oil addiction!!! Ive known and dealt with howard for 17 years now, and he,s always been a star, i greatly miss him tweaking my basses, ive even owned a jazz bass he built which was superb!!!, just sold him my schallers a pleasure to deal with as always highly recommended thanks mate - lee

Yeah i love the sterling i use it more for rock and funk gigs, the fenders are getting a bit more play at the mo, i do a lot of amateur theatre and use whatever bass is more appropriate for the show, i,d love a double pickup sterling myself, the nordstrand in it is great its a lot beefier sounding than a normal sterling, and its killer for slap!!! my warwick is still a great all rounder though and most people love it when you sneak in a bit of low B so i tend to use it for pop gigs!! Its amazing how GAS grabs you, since i got the fretless ive all the sounds i need and cant really justify anymore basses, but i am having lustful thoughts toward a yamaha trb 6, and the amp is always work in progress!!!! keep posting those collections everybody!! - lee

Not much love for the groove!!! I have two they are reasonably lightweight and sound great ( although yes SPL,S are greatly overestimated) always struggled with loud rock gigs, have no plans to sell them, good job by the sound of things, i might get ten bob and a pickled egg!!!, would love to try the barefaced cabs and the new epifani ones!!! i do still miss m old EBS prline 4x10 though it was awesome, but heavy!!! thanks for the very interesting info - lee
