  1. Could do with a quick ish sale on this, so I'll do the whole thing for £550 collected. A Perfect stack for the cost conscious young Bass hero. Note I will not be including a Speakon cable,I'll need it.
  2. I'm at work currently Ander, I'll get an idea tonight and update the post 😁
  3. I want to get a new rig, so I'm selling a few things so for you delectation 😁 Yamaha BB1024 bass guitar in Tobacco Sunburst finish. This bass features a 3 piece Alder body, a 5-piece Maple/Nato neck, and a 21 fret Rosewood fingerboard. Also has the very lovely Vintage + bridge with thru body or bridge steinging (currently through Bridge)as well as a split blade alnico V pickup in neck position and a single blade ceramic pickup in bridge position. The pickup gives a very warm and smooth P bass sound, as good as Fenders twice its price, adding the Jazz Blade gives it the unique biting Classic BB tone. All in all, it's a very warm and organic sounding bass and sounds really deep with flats (currently string with nickel rounds) I have the weight at roughly 9.7lbs I have made some slight modifications to this, as I gad a beautiful Dark Tortoise pickguard made for it, so it has a vibe of the Newer BB's ,as im no good with a drill i fitted this with pickguard adhesive, but ive been assured its reversable if its not required.I also replaced the original Knobs with metal Art Deco esq ones which I feel complement the bass (sorry I don't have the originals) The previous owner bought this new and, as such its in fantastic condition, with only a couple of dings and some very light scratching on the back of the lower horn. Currently has a medium low action, I've struggled to get this really low without buzz, so I'd say a pro setup may be needed for that. However this thing with a higher action and flats is sublime. It also comes with one of the best gigbags I've seen on a production bass. SOLD! Trades for decent NEO 112s considered GK/EBS or Bergantino would be welcome. I'm also on the lookout for GK 700/1001rbii, fusion 550 or legacy 500/800, or maybe EBS Reidmar 750
  4. Sweating while doing this!, I'd been after one for ages, but since I've started gigging, I've realised I need a smaller rig and money to fund it. Anyway this is Spencers original (and to many his best) Envelope filters based on the Mighty Meatball (itself a highly versatile version of a mutron) but in a smaller and more intuitive package. A great array of sounds available in this little box, and much easier to dial in than the later versions GR2/Wonderlove and I've owned both of these so it's true😊 It also has a very useful effects loop, stick an octave and Fuzz in there abd it's synth heaven (note-unlike the later versions, you can't use effects in the loop without the envelope, but you wouldn't want to) Its in very good condition and has been very looked after, also has the original box and manual/cloth bag etc SOLD
  5. Aha just what I'm looking for! Currently putting up a lot of gear fir a new rig.
  6. I'm now using Markbass gear, so the following is for sale. GK CX115 - £185 - Inc UK Postage single 115 with a horn which actually sounds great on its own. bought brand new as I was struggling to find a CX cab used. Comes with a brand new Hotcover worth £50 300w @ 8ohms Weight: 35lbs Dimensions: 14.5" x 23" x 19" SOLD
  7. Fantastic cabs! I'm going to be on the lookout for 2x 112S soon fine a more modular setup.
  8. Yes, I still keep looking at this 😉🤣
  9. Yes I've even told about that before! I need to look into it. Does it have a transformer then?
  10. So as I recently shared my fusion board,I've a gig this Saturday with my rock/Soul covers band. Unfortunately at this time I have to cannibalise the big board. But with incoming gig funds, I'll be looking at starting a small board separately (ive started with the MXR octave 🤣) For this Band I'm using 4 and 5 string Spector Euro LX. EBS Microbass 2 - effects are in the loop Sadowsky BP2 Pre FEA Optifet JPTR Jive MXR Bass Octave Deluxe - I use it for 1 song, a rocked up version of Superstition, will be used with Drive. It has a clean tone and tracks well with the active Spectors. Will be looking into a reasonably cheap A/B box/headphone pre, however the EBS covers everything well.
  11. This looks amazing, and although massively out of my budget, it's got me considering Dingwalls 😁
  12. I'm loving their way of thinking, everybody's always chasing our favourite tones from the records, which was more likely achieved by expensive studio gear rather than humble pedals. I for one would be excited by a transformer equipped Neve inspired pre 😍 I'd personally prefer to try the DCX first as £250 is a lot to drop when I know I won't use the heavy drive tones.
  13. After the initial Euporia of origin bringing something out for bass, the Demos haven't done it for me either. The demos seem to be concentrating on the OD side of things, rather than the EQ/Tone Enhancement that I'm interested in. Drives are popular, so they are going to market that side of the pedal more prominently,I look forward to a more in depth demo in the future. I'm currently using a JPTR FX Jive and it's giving me what I want, although I'm certain the Origin is far better built and does a lot more.
  14. £259 is the only price I can find.
  15. Just seen this has been released! Tone enhancer,EQ,Boost,OD, based on a vintage recording console. This has got me excited 😁 https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=pfbid0szfB8dP15rsM8jhY3kjkA6Zd8PnhFzs1L6Wu2C4e8jpwUm8fSWjJaDXCVz1fhAHXl&id=100067594404649&sfnsn=scwspmo
  16. Aww, my first ever bass (except mine was a grey/blue) that brings back memories 😊
  17. I have one of these! Phenomenal Basses, this was a steal.
  18. I've been using a small pedal board for a while with my Rock project, but my fusion band has a gig in May, so with a few additions I'd post the big one again 🤣 For this Band I'll be using an 82 JV Squire jazz and a Yamaha BB1024 Tone Enhancement section EBS Microbass 2 - A/B box/ Preamp/DI/ Overdrive/ headphone amp and Effects loop. very useful bit of kit and great quality sound. In the loop I have all of the effects, so I can use them through the Headphones. I use this live as an A/B Box and set the eq/drive sections to be as flat as possible, Channel A is clean but with the tube sim and bright engaged. (From the EBS link jack) - Donner Deluxe Mini tuner- kept losing the Headstock thing and got fed up of asking the the Keyboard player to give me an E 😂 Sadowsky BP2 preamp - mostly to add Treble and bass to the EBS channel B which is a drive channel. I have the Drive a zero and mids set flat, it's a darker but quieter sound. The Sadowsky equalises the volume difference. FEA Optifet - my favourite compressor, so much control and a great tone. Depending on the internal switches, it can sound like a Cali76CB (not as bright) or a fat Diamond. The sidechain allows the lows to breath. I have it set at its cleanest setting. JPTR FX Jive Reel Saturator - great little pedal thst just adds a warm Thickness to the tone when set low. The three switchable Diodes provides OD/Distortion abd even a pseudo Fuzz with silicon switched in (reminiscent of a Mastatron) BOSS LS2 - splits the signal after the comp, so all effects have compression beforehand. Has two seperate lines of FX that I can switch between or run in parallel Loop A - general effects. Aguilar Octamizer - great versatile and fat sounding octave, the filter and tilt EQ makes it useful. This is used for parallel octave, or switching between different octave tones. EBS Bass IQ - this is a great sounding filter!! Lots of variation with the modes and simple to use. Not as fat or resonant as some, but has a great tight/clear filter tone that cuts through really well. EBS Dphaser - As above but a funky, swirly, fat and very cool Digital Phaser. I love this thing Loop B - Synth Channel Emma - Okto Nojs - Octaver and synthy Dynamic Fuzz in one pedal, can be used individualy or combined for Dirty synth tones. Source Audio C4 synth- had one of these before, with a posh midi thing, only used 6 sounds in it 🤣 Synths/octavers/filters/phasers allsorts in here, but just sticking to thd six sounds this time 3 Leaf Groove Regulator - Spencers original (and to many, his best) lovely subtle sounding filter, which is fat organic and funky. Works great as part of a synth setup. Source Audio Gemini - Every type of Modulation available. I have Chorus/Flangers and Phasers built in. Works great adding Chorus to the Analog/Digital synth sounds I have available.
  19. Just bought a Saturation pedal from Jose, very pleasant comms and sent quickly with great packaging. Thanks Jose you're a gent x
