  1. I had them once, and they were really low tension. Im getting some TI's i love them. Ive DM'd re the band
  2. I had these on my precision, they sound so good and have that rich creamy Motown thump that we all love. Ive just joined an 8 piece soul band, so will be playing the P a lot more, however wrist issues mean these are too tight tension wise. They are 105-45 and are nicely worn in (these dont have treble when new 🤣) the silks are quite frayed, but the strings will fit perfectly. Will take £30 incl uk only postage
  3. I want some new cabs, so up for sale is my newly aqquired Yamaha BB435. Its a downsized and exceptionally light Alder body (with some lovely bookmatching, will get a proper weight tomorrow) in a classy looking Tobacco burst. It has a very slim and shallow neck with a flat radius rosewood board, very comfortable to play, even with my knackered wrist. This is far easier to play than the 425 and 1025 ive had previously. It has the tried and true BB P/J pickups, which are more of a fender style which is great for modding (it doesnt need it) lovely sounding B string and a spot on 5 string P tone. It also features through body or top load stringing, a fantastic workhorse 5 for not much money. Its my last in and my other basses are keepers, so this has to go as im gassing for Bergantino goodness. Its in as new condition, it was bought new by a guitarist who never used it, ive not gigged or even rehearsed with this as a 75RI i bought at the same time is being used on everything 🤣 has a fairly new set of Daddario XL's on, light gauge. No gig bag came with this, but ive a tatty one ill include for transport, itll also be very well boxed. Im wanting £435 including uk only delivery. Would consider trades with Bergantino AE or CN cabs

  5. I borrowed one of these for a few days, incredible sounding amp, very touch sensitive and dynamic, the built in parallel compression is set just right. I wish id had the cash to buy one
  6. Im tempted to move on my 121H for one of these, shame you wont post.
  7. Fantastic basses! Very easy to play, they weigh nothing and have a very rich/warm vintage tone.
  8. I love Honey Burst, i had a stingray 5 in that colour, really beautiful and classy in the flesh.
  9. Having another reshuffle, so as a result im moving on this fantastic 112 with Horn cab, . Its one of the italian ones, with the B&C drivers, its in fairly good condition, with a minimum amount of bobbling. This comes with a brand new Hotcover with the optional extra side pocket, handy for your speakons etc (over £70) Its got a great punchy midrange and great treble extension from the compression horn, its also a fairly easy one hand lift. Looking for a firm £280 incl Uk only delivery. Trades considered WHY Will knock cash off for collection from Morecambe
  10. Do you have the cover for it? 😊
  11. I met Paul today as he very kindly delivered an EBS amp to me. Lovely friendly fellow, who knows his bass stuff, his lovely wife was so patient while we gassed on for an hour 😆 A pleasure, my thanks again Paul 😊
  12. Do you have a cover for it?
  13. Id really love those cabs, need to find cash.
  14. My latest big board for my fusion band (i break it down to a smaller one for the rock band) Bright onion input/output box Sadowsky BP2 preamp/DI - for use with my passive basses, adds a nice bit of depth and clarity when set right, it doesnt change the character of the bass. Small tuner plugged into tuner out. Origin effects - Cali76 compact bass, the 1st version, i like the pop and sheen that it adds, its a subtle compressor, but tames the slaps and enhances my tone (especially since i moved to Markbass) Into a Boss LS2 - the most useful pedal in the world, it gives me so many options Channel A MXR Bass Octave Deluxe - its small and sounds great, and tracks really well, its set with more Girth for a deeper "octabass" style tone, with clean added its my standard octave tone. Zvez Mastatron - Gated fuzz that works great with all basses, used for synth tones, with a high gate, and least amount of subs, as usually used with an octave. EBS Bass IQ - envelope filter, v2 ive just got another (theyve shot up in price) as ive tried most and this is my favourite. Very usable Down sweep for Moog sounds, and triggers really well, High Q Is great for funky mutronish tones or part of a synth. Ive set a good amount of clean high end in via the trimpot, adds to note definition. MXR Phase 99 - The classic phase 90 x2 in one box, the two phasers can be used in series or parallel, and set with contrasting speeds, it can get very wild and funky, or set in synch which is very thick and adds gain to the signal, it has the "script" switch, for vintage/modern phase tones, orange sparkle too!! Channel B Boss OC2 - set without the clean signal for the "Jo jo Mayer" sound, i hadnt had one in years, i now remember why every bassist should have one. I add this classic sound in parallel via the LS2 to the Mastatron and Bass IQ as well as the phaser. Frederic effects Bugcrusher - Based on the Bugbrandits an analog sample rate reducer, very funky and percussive sounding pedal, you can almost get clavinet style tones, as well as ring mod like madness, it has a blend to keep some sanity. Ive tried many of these type of effects, and this is a very musical pedal. I use is with the OC2 for the "Baby elephant" tone as well as in parallel with the MXR Octave.
  15. Ive bumped my amp, but 48 mins may as well be 48 hours when you dont drive 🤪
  16. Id need to sell my head and it would need posting.
  17. Ivecused a 125-40 set, but wrist issues aside, i hate that gauge, so going back to 130-45
