    Fuzz Hunter

That photon looks awesome, has octave up and a Gate with clean blend, possibly the ultimate fuzz. I've the FEA optifet comp and it's one of the best made pedals ive had.
  2. That DMC micro really opens up this pedal! Great price for both. Congratulations to the buyer 😁
  3. I did a little side by side when I briefly had both. The Red Ripper can get close to The Prunes sound, but the prunes is wilder and squelchier (for want of a better term) it is far more synthy. The Red Ripper can do a whole lot more as it can cop big muff sounds as well as sounding like a brassmaster, it's all to do with the RIP control. I sold the prunes to get a 5 string Yamaha, then bought the red ripper, and once again sold it to get other things. I did compare with some fuzz/filter settings on the C4 which were close enough to make selling them easier. I do wish I had the disposable income to just keep things 😂
  4. Just upgraded my BB425 so I have the original bridge for sale. Decent quality and comparable to the standard fender bridges. Perfect for a bitsa P/ jazz 5 string build or a replacement for your Yamaha, and in fantastic condition. It has through body stringing capability and an extended B string, to ease the break angle on the B string. £15 incl UK only postage
  5. Beautiful bass Peter! I'm a massive fan of the BB's, I love how the translucent finish, shows the Alder/Maple/Alder sandwich on the body. GLWTS

    P basses

Yes it has a 70s jazz style width, but when it says meat in the hand, it's very true, as it's quite thick. I was under the impression it was modelled on a briefly made profile in 71 called B. A C profile to me is much shallower like the 60's P bass necks. Ultimately everybody talking about this profile or measurement, isn't a substitute for actually trying one. These things are So subjective.
  7. Yeah my babies!! Very pleased with the BB350F. And the amazing Mr Travis is fitting an upgraded BB1025/P35 vintage plus bridge to the 425 😍
  8. I'd say your spot on there
  9. Yep always you 😁
  10. One of my favourite filters.
  11. Aww been after one of these for ages and just skinted myself buying a fretless.
  12. 😂😂 but he was sufficiently "cheesy sinister" which was a staple of 80's B movie baddies. Id read that Gene was so busy chasing an acting career at the time, he had very little to do with the writing/playing on the "Animalize" album (or was it Asylum, cue Cetera) making it pretty much a Paul Stanley record I know Paul Stanly isn't the singer he used to be, but at least he was an incredible singer (unlike Mr Roth, whom I also love) but Kiss are still getting out there and putting on a fantastic show. I believe a lot of vids were going about of Paul when he was poorly and looked/sounded awful. You've got to wonder whether sometimes the ethos of "The show must go on" is the right thing to do.
  13. Lol, it'll be a puppet show next!! 😂
  14. I love this! A perfect "What if" story 😂

    Mu-tron ripper

Ahh not much more than an MXR BEF, but much cheaper than a 3 leaf proton.

    P basses

The Fender Nate Mendel It has a slimmer neck/thinner nut But still is quite fat and deep at the back. I believe it was known as a "B" Profile, a lot of people love it, but I wasn't keen.
  17. I'm now waiting for NJE to start an Octave and Chorus thread 😁

    Mu-tron ripper

That looks really cool! Almost a Mutron "light" I'd miss the downsweep though. Will still be an expensive piece of kit though.
  19. I love my Microbass 2! This has even more functionality and the famed EBS compressor. Well worth the price of admission 😁
  20. Lovely Basses Mick! I look forward to the patter of tiny strings 😂

    NPD - filter fun

Lol!! I know mate, you're right. I'm really surprised I've not picked one up. I've a couple of mates, that have had one and they sounded fantastic.
  22. Yeah a very dirty filter, no downsweep, but sounds great in demos. Definately on my want list.
  23. Lovely board! The Diamond is a great comp and I loved the Boss Bass flanger 😁
