  3. I'm afraid it's sold 😁
  4. Cool!! How do you find the compressore Stew? I've got my eye on one 😁
  5. Phew! Thank goodness for that! Ive a C4 coming tomorrow and have been planning having both 😂
  6. Yes it's a one piece body, with a striking grain. Pickup is a MM 4.3 MM4.3 The MM4.3 will drop into a Music Man® Sterling® or other 3-way switched installation, and features a dummy coil on the bottom for silent single coil mode. Like the MM4.2, the MM4.3 features Alnico V magnets and Heavy Formvar wire for an authentic early pre-Ernie Ball® tone—punchy, growly, and fat. Includes black cover (exposed pole pieces). I'm actually not so keen on the single/series modes! They seem to cut a lot of the treble and bass. The paralell mode is pure vintage ray! All i need 😁
  7. While my children are still young, I'll just have my jazz/P bass/Sterling and hope to god no more stinky poo comes up,where I've to sell another one. Is there an ex pro player who never had any more than 6 basses at time section? The one where life keeps intervening, and they have to be sold 😂 I also have a terrible pedal addiction, I'd say this thread is transferable to the effects section too 😁
  8. Absolutely spot on!! 😂 Perhaps if everyone learned to love flatwounds, then future GAS could be avoided 😁
  9. She's back with me! And I was the one that named her Rita 😁 I bought her from The original owner Greeneking who fitted the Nordstrand. I also remember seeing her with another basschat owner in Bassist magazine. Recently had a new nut fitted a full setup/electrics check and a clear perspex guard. Somewhere down the line a horrible nut making the strings narrower was fitted! I got that fixed as soon as I could afford it. I've had her back about a year now. I first owned her 12 years ago, I got from Warwickhunt who traded it to me, I part traded it later to a young fella Josh whom I believe sold her to you Mr Wrinkleygit. I recall I PM'D as I followed her adventures and missed out on need a 2nd time to Warwickhunt who can't help himself and sold her a second time 😂 She stays with me and had been doing a lot of recording recently. Small body/slim neck of a sterling and the Alnico vintage balls of a classic ray, and looks amazing Funny everybody loved her, NOBODY kept her😂 I regretted parting straight away, even though It was for a Ken smith.
  10. That Cog gone then? 😁 Not surprised, I've the T70 it's my favourite pedal. Wish Id had the cash for this too.
  11. Slight digression! I'd this Hot one stuff any good? I'm just looking at their funky looking bit crusher. I assume the build/sound quality is comparable to the Mooer?
  12. Lol! That sounds about right 😂
  13. I've always thought of the Darkglass to be very "Metal" sounding so I've always avoided it. I'm sure if I tried it,I would like it.nigh on every Demo of the pedal seems to have the same harsh/grainy extreme top end distortion sound. For me the Tech21 VTbass (any version) on the B15 settng does the Motown sound perfectly and a lot cheaper than Darkglass 😁
  14. I must admit as I'm getting older,The temptation to put flats on all my basses is high 😂 My P is currently wearing TI's which I love, but yes they have a very mid/high range to them, I plan to replace them with Labella which have a deep/warm tonewithout much high end Not too long ago,I had a Yamaha BB with EB Cobalt flats they 're fantastic and have a broken in nickel roundwound tone with a nice supple tension. I'm currently considering removing the Badass/East pre from my jazz, and returning it to passive, I'll probably get some cobalt flats for it too. D'addario chromes have a very bright but clanky high mid tone, which is great for Rawk.
  15. PM'd you a couple of days ago,not sure if you've received it? 😁
  16. IIRC The funk face sounds very like the EHX Bassballs but with a tube drive, rather than a fuzz. Maybe the tube will give it a richer voice, but the Bassballs will give you that sound for a lot less Shackles.
  17. Hi did this sell? 😁
  18. It's a pleasure to start a feedback thread for this fine Gentleman. Derrick is the lucky owner of my 3 leaf Enabler. Very friendly comms and super fast payment. Deal with confidence

  22. For any potential interested parties, we the above question re the Aux input I've had a bit of a test today! As its been ages since had my IP. It appears I was wrong, the Aux signal actually Doesn't come through the 1/4 out or the DI (I used the EBS Microbass to play Music, which was replaced by the Enabler) I hope this info is useful. I've also had an A/B test on the DI on this with a newly recieved Tech21 VTDI. The the Enabler was louder and Crystal clear! Much clearer than the VT. Good job I've just recorded my album with it 😂 The manual also confirms that the Aux in is only heard through headphones. www.3leafaudio.com › Enabl...PDF Web results The Enabler: EQ/DI/Headphone Amp - 3Leaf Audio To quote my esteemed bass brothers,if I didn't have building work to pay for,I'd happily keep both as clean and dirty pres.
  23. Very curious to know what your needs are Steve? If could see if it works! PM me 😁
