  1. I love those tracks, she's fantastic!! Thank you for putting her on my radar, What a band too, well played sir. That bass is my kind of sound, very crisp, my fave colour too.
  2. Last bump and I'll happily keep it.
  3. I've just sold Phil a pedalboard! Ultra fast payment and a great fella to deal with. Thanks for a great transaction, a gentleman to the end.
  4. I will trade this for an Aguilar Filter twin And Oc2 esq octave and a Fuzz very similar to a You're Doom (going for between 4-£500 on here) Crazy this is being ignored
  5. I may have missed the Acinonyx section of this thread, but I got this beauty a few weeks ago. I'm still recovering from a hand operation so decided to try the shortscale vibe again. I'd previously had a Sire U5 which was a cracking little bass, which sounded great, but just felt wrong to me,it was like Honey i shrunk the Aerodyne jazz, and I feel shortscales work when they are a bit quirky and different. It's based on the Goya Panther a daft quirky Italian bass from the 60s, as im a huge Abe laboriel fan, I'd always wanted to try one. It's beautifully made and feels like a much more expensive bass than the Sire (it is). Sound wise it's very vintage and thick and dark, but surprisingly versatile, and i usually dont use pickups solo, but both these sound really good on their own, and with both pickups on, a very good slap sound is achievable . The push button tone controls don't work for me, just varying levels of mud (sounds like a tone control 50% off then fully off, which i know some people love), I'd have preffered a standard tone control, but the flat sound sounds clear and punchy, so I'll leave it there, I'm also using a sadowsky preamp pedal with it and it sounds huge. Incredibly light and a fantastic comfortable neck, and the pickups/hardware are very high quality I'll have it for a while,as ive still an op on my other hand to do. I'm so ingrained in long scale I'm not sure I'll be permanent convert, although as in 50 next month, maybe a few gigs with this, will change my mind.
  6. EBS multicomp! Two knobs, fairly low ratio (5:1 max, min 1:1) three modes have different tones. Normal - full range and transparent Multi band - highs and lows compressed separately, very clean and articulate Tube- adds a warm colouration to the tone They can be picked up fairly inexpensively. Warning very high output basses can clip it though.
  7. I've always wanted to try one of these, purely because of the agent 00 funk circuit. I bought one once and it was knackered the second I plugged it in, I was gutted as I think that's the filter to end my search 🤣
  8. Still nothing! It's saying you've not read my message, I'll try again.
  9. Price dropped to £1150 incl UK only delivery
  10. Sadowsky SBP2, features the legendary FET based 2 band EQ found on Rogers famous basses. Very simple and effective, turns your passive basses into an active monster. The main thing I like is, that it doesn't necessarily give you that "active" tone, it's still organic and retains the passive quality of whatever bass its used with, it just enhances what's there. Bass - 40Hz Treble 4Khz I've even used this with active basses (set flat) to add that tone. It's become a very essential pedal to me, so much so I sold my EBS pre, and I plan to buy the DI version of this pedal. It's in as new condition and built like a tank, I have the original box. SOLD
  11. Current situation with my hands, has got me scaling down the gear I use, and making better use of less effects Pedaltrain Classic 2, a nice size for all you shoegaze stars, you can get quite a few pedals on this baby, byt still gets on most stages without issue. It's in fantastic condition and I've replaced the velcro on it, with higher quality stuff, it also has quite a few clips and cable tie anchors to help keep it's backside tidy, as well as extra pads on the bottom. It comes with the fantastic Mono Tour M80 2.0 case, typically high Mono quality and as much protection as a hard case with a lot less weight. It has a massive pocket on the top, and will easily store all of your cables/laptop/ipads/music. The case is designed to fit up to the novo 24 in the pedaltrain line, so there is a gap at the top, I have put in some very large foam inserts to keep it snug (it also gives you more storage for power cords/plug extensions etc. It's a whole gig storage solution and in pretty much as new condition. SOLD
  12. The Baby Quasar, is the Analog phase part of the mighty Quasar (without the extra digital bells and whistles) It's a very versatile 4 stage Phaser, with control over the centre frequency which should be standard on all phasers, as well as resonance and depth/rate. It can do the warm phase 90 thing, but also can have a very bright aggressive sound, which works perfectly with fuzz, it has a very wide range . It can also run up to 12v for extra headroom, very cool phaser indeed. It has a bit of the wording worn off, but other than that in good condition, very small pedal in a pretty palma violet colour. Comes with the original Box Withdrawn
  13. Up for sale is a pedal that's been a staple sound on my board for a long time. The Emma Okto Njos is a very dirty/synthy pedal, and a whole plethora of synth tones can be had with this! Just add filter and Analog synth heaven. It's two pedals in one Octave - this is a very deep and plummy octave, it has a filter, so can go very deep to buzzy like a sawtooth wave, it does the OC2 thing well. It tacks very well, but not with very high output active basses. Fuzz- this Fuzz is in two parts, the first is a very dynamic synth Fuzz, with a subtle octave up sound as you play higher up. This sounds very very similar to the 3 leaf you're Doom currently going for tons of money online . I have owed a Doom and it's the same sound, great for Moog like tones. It also has a fuzzy square wave tone an octave down, with a volume and colour (tone) so it can be used alone or in conjunction with the normal Fuzz sound. When Fuzz and octave are switched on together, they run in parallel for a cleaner more dynamic synth tones. It's in fantastic condition, with a pretty blue Octopuss orgy on the front, I'd like £120 incl UK only delivery - ON HOLD
  14. Having a cull, and this has been a staple on my board for a while. The EBS Microbass 2 is the most comprehensive Swiss army knife for bass I've ever owned, heres a list of its functions Bass pre amp - can be used as a two channel pre for a single bass, by having a 2 band clean pre, abd the facility to add a 2nd Overdrive channel with mids. A/B Box - The ability to plug in two seperate basses, and switch between them with a footswitch. One channel utilises the two band EQ as well as tube simulation and presence filters, the enhance switch turns it into a Baxendall type 2 band where mids are boosted with bass/treble cut. 2nd channel has parametric mids and a drive control, perfect for a P bass. DI BOX- full featured and very high quality DI box m, with speaker emulation circuitry, great for IEM systems or recoding to DAW. Headphone amp - perfect for silent practice Effects loop- effects can be added and the onboard control switches from series to parallel, meaning you can add your clean tone to dirt or modulation pedals Quality Bass overdrive- utilises EBS class A drive circuit as found in their multidrive pedal. The whole thing is basically the front end of the vaunted EBS HD 350 head (minus compression) add a power amp and you've a fantastic rig, also perfect for powered speakers Great tone and ill probably regret it, but I need to condense all my pedals down, so time for someone else to make use of this remarkable and inexpensive pedal. In fantastic condition and comes with the original Box. Sold
