1. Doh!!!! And I've just bought the pedal version πŸ˜” i wanted one of these 😁
2. Lost a few in a panicked cull, but the boards still nice! 😁
3.
The headstock isn't wonky, it's a left handed neck upside down.
lol!!!sorry bad choice of words and my way of describing an upside down headstock, a great bass which im sure someone will be very happy with
4. Wow! A great idea,is the MM pickup wired series or parallel? I would say series by the tone😁 I'm not sure of the wonky headstock, but it does look/sound great
5. If this is still here at the end of the month I'll have this 😁
6.
I use to own one of these. Great bass...regret getting rid of it. Mine had a hole in the base near the strap button for fitting a spike so it could be played like an upright. Despite the name and country of origin, Samick do some very good stuff, and this bass is living proof! GLWTS!
Just had a look at mine and there is plastic cap in what looks like a hole for an endpin! This also has Schaller strap buttons so your straplocks will work 😁
7. Ì kept saying to myself,please don't be a maple board!!!! Oh no!!! I want it 😁
8. Ì had one of these! Really regret selling it now πŸ˜” absolutely corking bass for the money.
9. Thanks Bassman You're absolutely right! It is a really well made instrument and sounds fantastic,It's miles better than the Washburn AB10 I previously had. Currently gassing for a P bass so something had to go
10.
sorry pal this has gone. No label on it.
I saw the Oc2 last night and I was so tempted! But I literally bought a new pedal minutes before seeing it. My cog T16 does get close enough thankfully
11. As you know,I've just sold my mastatron! And I'm kicking myself πŸ˜” i do have a tech 21 red ripper which is worth a look if you can find one. I deliberated between the two and the red ripper is more versatile, but takes a lot more tweaking to get a great synth sound out of than the mastatron, when mixed with octave and filter. 3 leaf doom too or a Crowther prunes and custard, they are on the more expensive end though 😁
12.
La Bella make nylon tapewounds in many different flavours (black, gold, copper and white) that are available in 50/65/85/105.
What Are the tone differences between them? I've tried the black which are very warm and I've read the whites are brighter! Any idea where the copper and gold fit in? Cheers
13. I've always been a massive fan of Randy Crawford! I remember getting the Secret Combination album and it changed my life! It was my introduction to Abraham Laboriel who is my favourite player amongst a million other favourite players 😁 I still get shivers in the track trade winds when he slides up to a 10th double stop. Another amazing Randy album and my personal fave is "Raw Silk" Will Lee and Abe Laboriel are just perfect on every track. Will lee's tone on "declaration of love" is still my benchmark 😁
14. Fur up your sound with this fantastic pedal 😁
15. Bit of a wrench this one as i really love this pedal. It's a gated silicon fuzz with an impedance control so it's fantastic with active basses,it has a three position subs control so no worries about lack of bass with this puppy. This is a very synthy fuzz and sounds incredible with a good envelope filter and octave. I have a red ripper and it was a very tight race between the two,but both do synth bass very well. It's very small and built like a tank,it's in great condition and has Velcro on the bottom. I want £65 incl delivery 😁
16. Hi everyone For sale is my Samick HFB 590,made in 1995/6 Samick make guitars for all of the big companies (gibson/fender/take mine etc) and for a time brought out their own brand. This is from the Artist series and has lovely MOP inlays on the headstock. It is two tone sunburst and maple construction with a lovely bound rosewood fingerboard. It looks like a lovely archtop jazz guitar with F holes, its Extremely well made with a nice deep but comfortable body and a lovely slim neck. Its quite loud for home practice,I used it to learn songs without plugging in. It has a preamp with three band eq and battery tester,it is currently strung with Elixir phosphor bronze strings. It also comes with a specially fitted hard case. Id be wanting £265 incl UK only delivery Or £250 collected from Morecambe Info on Samick (link fixed) http://samick.wikia.com/wiki/Artist_Series Cheers 😁
17. Hi everyone Selling my bass soul food! It's fantastic low gain Overdrive. It features a pad switch for active/passive basses,a clean blend to retain low end and a treble control. A lot of variation can be had with the blend and tone and gives gritty sound that cuts through. Switchable buffered/true bypass internally. It's in fantastic condition and comes with the original box and a power supply. Has Velcro on the bottom. Ignore the top price 😁 £45 posted to you 😁
18. Wow I'd love that jazz neck! Would be great on my white JV 😁 Just bought a pre amp for my Ray and about to have work done so skint πŸ˜•
19. Isn't someone after a dark JV P In the wanted ads? 😁
