Hi Julian, You are correct about the knobs, as for the cavity you will have to allowa bit of room for the printed circuit board, hope that helps

Hi Ed, The dark marks are where some of the clear finish has com off and constant rubbing of the hand when playing over the years ahs left the dark patina. Truss rod works fine in both directions..
