  1. I had one of these and for £150 you are getting good bang for your buck, @AndyTravisis spot on GLWTS
  2. Yama/Jazz sounds good, I can get one of those bath hoists from work to hold it up for me 🤪
  3. Yes I agree it would be expensive, it would need a pick-guard to cover up the lousy routing and then to try and find the stock pickups. A decent split P and a Yamaha bridge pickup would be good, if the price is right but he's looking £450 best offer to me. I do like that maple fretboard and the colour is nice, I do like a challenge ...
  4. Would this be worth buying Andy at the right price 🤨
  5. Now reduced to a bargain £650 delivered , this has to go
  6. Good man Andy for that explanation
  7. Yes I remember seeing that for the first time on TOPTP, loved it then...
  8. Its a beaut Andy, condition is great
  9. After much consideration and having a noodle on it tonight I have decided to keep it, I waited a long time to find one in this condition and fallen back in love again...sorry to those that showed interest
  10. Sure is Thanks..
  11. I bought this off @AndyTravis last month but the bass I was after for a long time showed up here last week so I had to have it. I need to balance out the funds to pay for it so its sale only I'm afraid Something you’ll not see many of - Made in Japan late 1990’s, really well put together, light weight (7.5/8lbs) real Musicman sound without that chunky weight or body. ( borrowed your line here Andy ) 38mm nut Passive tone bass/treble series/parallel switch active/passive switch Brass nut 24 frets Ash body 3 piece maple neck. Gotoh hardware… There was a chip to the lower corner below the controls that was there when Andy got it and I have done my best to make it better looking and it has turned out not too badly. Lovely colour and lightweight compared to some of my heavyweight I have a case that came with it and will do the job for the journey. I will include delivery to UK addresses in the price. Any questions Guys fire away please
  12. We are everywhere...🤫

  15. Thanks Karl, sorry to see it go but needs must 😪
  16. Up for sale is my 2012 American Vintage Reissue 57 Precision bass in white blonde with black pickguard the gold anodised one was taken off but will come the bass, maple neck, vintage correct cloth wired 57 pickup with raised A string pole pieces, threaded saddle bridge, serial number on the neck plate, finger rest and bridge cover. This has a one piece ash body with one piece maple neck so a real bit of work from Fender here. I took this in a trade but moving it on as I have something coming in and nee to balance the kitty. It’s in great condition with just a few dings in the finish on the bottom edge. The neck is a 7.25” radius with 1.75” width at the nut. It sounds and plays great and having the thin nitro finish is very resonant. I don’t think there’s a better looking. it weighs in at 4.3kg and has standard strap pins on. Price is firm as I want back what to owes me I’m not really after any trades , Comes in an SKB Fender hard case A few spec details; Body - Body Shape: Precision Bass - Body Wood: Swamp Ash - Body Finish: Lacquer Neck - Neck Shape: "C" Shape - Number of Frets: 20 - Fret Size: Vintage Style Frets - Fretboard Radius: 7.25" (18.41 cm) - Fretboard: Maple - Nut Width: 1.75" (44.45 mm) - Scale Length: 34" (86.36 cm) - Neck Plate: Serialized 4 Bolt Neckplate Electronics - Pickup Configuration: Single '57 Precision Bass Split Single-Coil Pickup - Controls: Master Volume, Master Tone Hardware - Hardware: Nickel/Chrome - Bridge Cover/Tailpiece: Includes Chrome Bridge Cover - Tuning Machines: Vintage Style Reverse Tuning Machines - String Nut: Synthetic Bone
  17. Looks like its sold Luke
  18. Is it worth a punt Andy
  19. I need to go to Specsavers 🤪
  20. I bought this lovely Fender Musicmaster bass off Greyparrot. The original white finish had been striped back to bare wood and I think some kind of varnish had been applied but I sanded this back again to bare wood and put on 5 coats of Nitrocellulous white undercoat and 6 coats of antique white which has a more yellowish colour. I changed out the pickup as these were originally guitar pickups that Fender used at that time, I ordered a 4 pole replacement from Mojo Pickups which fitted into the cover nicely and has really improved the sound. Original pickup will come with it, everything else is original. In very good shape for a 43 year old bass Nut width 40mm Weight 3.9 Kgs Neck is not too chunky Nice low action and very little fret wear, I'm really pleased with the finished job, the grain of the wood can be seen but hard to photograph but looks nice Sale only as I have made a few acquisitions recently so Im moving it on Price will include delivery to UK addresses
  21. Where in Manchester is it for sale @Maude
  22. Totally forgot to leave this feedback for Rich, I bought his Fender Musicmaster off him and a lovely smooth transaction, top bloke to deal with and we had a good Basschat on the phone. Cheers,Brian
  23. Maybe it would be better Andy if we swapped houses and that would save on the postage 😉
