  4. You don’t often get one as original and in good condition as this
  5. SOLD Pending Fender P one owner from new, serial number dates it to 1975 but the pots and pickups are dated 1976 I bought this from a gentleman who lives locally but was originally from London where he bought the bass and played in a band for a few years and it has been virtually unplayed ever since Frets are in good condition, trus rod works both ways with no issues Its missing the pickup cover, all screws and bits are original Its currently with my Luthier who is setting it up so I am unable to get it weighed but will update when I pick it up Body and neck are in great shape, I think its a B width neck as its very comfortable Electrics are fine and pickups nice and punchy as a P should The case for it is non Fender and is a bit tatty but protects the bass well Any question please fire away in case I have missed anything
  6. 1977 precision bass all complete and original. Original rare sonic blue finish. Neck is straight with a nice low action, frets are good, a lot of the finish has naturally come off from the back of the neck over time leaving a really nice fast playability, strung with a nice set of old flatwounds. All works as it should with no issues. Ash body. Including original tags including serial number. All complete with original case and chrome covers. It's a medium weight for a 70s ash body p bass 4.7kgs. Pots date 18th week of 76 and the pickups are 77 (both pictured). Serial number on front of the headstock. Cash or bank transfer on collection only. No couriers or PayPal or any of that nonsense thanks.
  7. I have had these pickups in my parts drawer for some time and never got around to using them again, having a clear out £45 posted in the UK Heres the blurp form an old catlogue Seymour Duncan Active EQ Jazz pups. These were made in the late '80s/early '90s and had three DIP switches on each pup. These allowed different voicings of the coils and here's the blurb from SD describing how they used to be:-'Functions of switches on old-style "Active EQ" bass pickups We stopped making the switch pickups ("Active EQ") in the mid-'90s. We replaced them with the Pro-Active series. The little rocker switches on the Active EQ pickups change the sound. Switch #1 shifts the coil resonance. On a Jazz Bass neck pickup and a P Bass pickup, the resonance moves downward from 22 KHz to 6.4 KHz. On a Jazz Bass bridge pickup, it move downwards from 17 KHz to 4.9 KHz. The effect is to give a more focused sound with a harder attack. Switch #2 gives a broad band bass boost of 4 dB for the Jazz Bass neck and P Bass pickups, and 5 dB for the Jazz Bass bridge. The switches can be a very effective tool for changing the tonal "character" of your instrument.' The pups are used in conjunction with 100k pots, a 100uf cap and a stereo jack socket to activate the battery and this harness will be supplied as well.

  9. I found this in the Fender case I bought recently, and no not the one on the receipt unfortunately
  10. £40 buys it I bought this for a replacement bridge for my Guild bass and in order to make it fit I had to elongate the holes but unfortunately this did not line up with the bolt holes on the bass so its up for sale the bolts with it dont fall through so this may be a good replacement for someone £125 new so grab a bargain £55 posted in the UK
