1. I had one of these a few years back and now the proud owner of the BB1200 through neck. Regret selling the 1100s and I would love to have it back so this is veryyyy tempting. Like you I have just over 12 basses and they are all lovely but need to be thinned out, this though is an exception.
2. Got my first wiring loom from John and I must say he is a first class guy at soldering and a gentleman to deal with also. Little screwdriver thrown in as well, very professional. I will be using him for any future projects or upgrades Highly recommended...
3. SOLD Sold to goonieman... Pleasant transaction all the way, Thanks David
4. Hi Guys, I have here for sale a Vintage fretless bass, not as in old but name as the previous owner has removed the logo from the headstock. Anyway I bought this about 3 years ago and it has not seen much use. The body was originally finished in Mahogany which I have since sprayed finished in a pearl white which I think makes it look much better. The finish is not like a factory factory finish but its pretty decent and you would have to look real close to see. A great starter fretless for someone looking to try out fretless without having to spend big money, I didn’t really get on that well with fretless and probably too old now for change. It has the P/J configuration and is of course active controlled. 4 controls Volume Blend Bass Treble Nut Width is 41mm Neck is good and straight, no visible wear on the fretboard The strings are Rotosound 77 and cost £35 quid which I installed when I got the Bass so not seen much use. It will come with a generic hard case for delivery, price includes delivery to UK addresses only but contact me for further quotes outside the UK Thanks for looking and contact me for any other info Brian

6.
I had a 'I ought to have a fender' phase a while ago, the upshot being a trip to Bristol and a good look round pmt, virtually every mexican jazz they had on display had a pocket gap big enough to slip a pick in either side, leading me to think they're very hit and miss. The usa models were no better built than my old Tokai, I left with a smile on my face and my money still in my pocket . (The phase has passed)
Lucky you
7. thanks guys, you have realised my worst suspicion. I will contact the seller to see what he has to say. at least I have his address and mobile number I will keep you posted
8. Yes, of all the basses I have or ever owned this has to be the worst fitting neck I have seen. <p> Report item Description Postage and payments eBay item number: 351656344704 Seller assumes all responsibility for this listing. Item specifics Condition: Used : Seller notes: “GENERALLY EXCELLANT, SOME MINOR WARE, VINTAGE ITEM, SEE PHOTOS AND DESCRIPTON FOR FULL DETAILS” Type: Electric Bass Size: 4/4 Brand: Tokai Right-/ Left-Handed: Right-Handed MPN: Does Not Apply No. of Strings: 4 string EAN: Does not apply Questions and answers about this item No questions or answers have been posted about this item. Ask a question- opens in a new window or tab Recently viewed items Feedback on our suggestions
9. Thanks Doomed, The neck fits the description ok, But its very loose in the next pocket about a 3mm gap on one side, the body of a different bass ?
10. Hi Jon Thanks for getting back, It was sold to me as an early eighties Tokai Jazz and when I recieved it I took the neck off and don't understand the stamp mark in the neck pocket. The neck looks to be genuine but the body ?? The tuners have 3 screws and can be tightened by the collars. Is the body a 97 do you think Brian
11. Oh forgot to add, the truss rod is adjusted by an allen key, in some pics I've seen its a slotted type ???
12. Hi Guys Need some help again, I recently bought this 1980 ish Tokai Jazz bass and noticed right away that the neck pocked was not as tight as it should be so decided to take the neck off to see the pocket. As you can see the stamp 1997 DEM stamped on the body. Not having a Tokla before so does anybody have any idea what this might be or what should be stamped there. The neck looks ok but not great as I think someone was messing around with some lacquer spray near the nut and headstock. There is a plate at the back stamped L45786 Hope these photos help Thanks in advance guys
