1. I have this lying around now for some time so I want to clear it out. Has a wilkinson bridge, a set of pups that I paid £50 for and never used so as new. Ignore the neck as it has been sold The body was taken off and old cheapish bass and refinished in this colour, just Ok but handy for someone looking to do a project. Cheers Brian
 2. Price or Trade Value : £395.00 “Home Built” 1951 PRECISION BASS in BEAUTIFUL SUNSET ORANGE NITRO £395 Up for sale is a “Home Built” 1951 Precision Bass “look-a-like” in Sunset Orange Nitro Body: Warmoth Swamp Ash finished in Sunset Orange Nitro Neck: Mighty Mite Maple with Rosewood Board 38mm Nut Width Pickup: Lollar Original P-Bass Single Coil Tuners: Genuine Fender Tuners Electrics: Obsidian Wire loom Bridge: Gotoh 201 Weight is approx 9.5 Lbs I have used the Brigs original post with permission of course This bass was built in 2013 by the brig at a cost of £850. He used it as his main gigging bass for a couple of years and it sounded amazing and really cut through the mix, I have had it sat in my study with only occasional use. It’s in good condition with a few minor blemishes here and there as you would expect from a nitro finish, but it still looks lovely and it attracts lots of complimentary comments. I am selling a few basses as I need the cash for an up and coming wedding for my son which came out of the blue. I paid £450 for it I’m based in N.Ireland- 07713756789 I have amended the electrics in the description as it was changed to an Obsidian wire loom, these cost around the £60 mark and are very good. PRICE INCLUDES DELIVERY TO ANY UK ADDRESS Thanks for looking. Brian

 18.
Good point. I had a "Gneco" EB3 clone which was an excellent bass. I believe they are well regarded.
From what I have heard they are very good basses. I have several MIJ basses and this one is well up there in terms of build quality and sound.
 19.
I'm sure I saw one of these on the Classic & Cool Guitars website but with a maple board. Yup, here is it: http://classicandcoo...co-pb-450-bass/
Different pickups, truss rod adjustment is at the top and the letter R in greco is different. This is the much later model. Brian
 20. Hi guys Here is my new purchase, an unusual one and I am posting some pics to see if anyone has had a bass like this or even seen one before for Greco. From my help from Jon he has managed to get some good info for me as to the origin of the Bass. I won't at this stage divulge this as i am hoping some of you guys might add your input. Its a strange one because the pickups are not the usual Greco, but I know that this is original and in pretty good shape for its age, probably home use only. The nut width and neck shape are near as damm it jazz like, the pups have a good precision sound which I am more than happy with. Anyway let me know your thoughts I will post better pics when the weather is better
