  1. For sale is my P bass Lyte. In pretty good nick actually. One nasty bruise down by the jack socket. Slim neck, strung with a set of Roto swing bass. I bought this 22 years ago, gigged it a bit then lent it to my brother in Italy. I got it back about 5 years ago but it just hangs on my wall so it's time to move it on. No trades on this one and would rather meet than courier. Pictures for you and any more please ask
  2. I had a Fender flea jazz. The pickups in that were superb. fender pure vintage '64s.
  3. I did 5 string 25 years ago. Did it for a few years and went back to 4. Fretless and fretted, I easily adapted to 5. I sometimes played a 'd' on the low b. Didn't really like the sound below that Here's a picture of my custom made 5 string made by my friend Andy Crockett
  4. I also had one made to this spec, white with Chrome. it was lovely serial number NB12679
  5. a slightly older audience, well behaved and I spoke to quite a few of them after. And a 10.35 finish. I'd go there to watch bands as it's a earlier start than most pubs
  6. In March this year I picked up a 1964 Hofner violin bass at Auction. I've never played a German one but do have a contempory. It has a wonderful neck, slim, not too shallow and comfortable. I'll probably gig it at some point. I just got a bee in my bonnet about wanting one. Same with the Harlet Benton PB-50. It actually has a great neck, really great since I rolled the fingerboard edges, sounds amazing too. Gigged in my Police tribute For me basses have to look cool, not too flashy (by which I mean, loads of knobs and sitches) and have 4 strings Any colour, I have all colours including a neon pink Brian May guitar
  7. What a great venue. played there last night with my Police trbute and with U2 Tribe. Staff were great and Sam the soundman was amazing. My IEM mix was superb. Can't wait to go back
  8. that's actually a really cool thong to be able to do
  9. Here's my 2 entries 1964 Hofner and 1973 P bass
  10. cleared out a load of pictures from the archives, so I have some space back will look at compressing pictures going forward
  11. I'm no IT expert, so don't know any of this Thank you, it makes sense thank you
  12. I'm struggling to post pictures because the file sizes are too big. Is there a limit to how much can be posted please?
  13. I cant post either of mine as the files are too big and I dont know how to make them smaller '73 Pbass and '64 Hofner 500/1 (there's also a '67 SG Junior, late 50s Hofner Commitee acoustic too)
  14. I bought a fretless neck from these guys, 10 years ago. It was fine and is still holding up today https://eyparts.com/ having just looked, the necks are hard to find but they are there
  15. I think that would have been Jonathan Noyce
