they do last a long time but sometimes get dislodged too. I might try your Lekato setup for my IEM -
wow that's amazing

cool, thanks for that, I have tried my guitar one (on the IEMs) but it dropped out on a really big gig (during soundcheck) so I went back to a lead but the lekato was perfect on the guitar (weird) also on 5.8. I have used the guitar one very succesfully on quite a few gigs last year ( no drop out or anything) -

what lekato are you using for your IEM @markbunney? -
nice one JazzyJ, some great numbers there I've been doing 80s now for 5 years and you must put Vienna in your set, always goes down a storm near the end of the 2nd set usually I can get the whole place to sing AAAHHHHH VIENNA. you'll need an Aria SB of some description (if you can take the weight lol) There's couple in the for sale section you'll love it mate, great bass work in most of the 80s stuff

I had a scarab once. It played really nice but I never got on with the sound. I'd love to try it again now, now I understand things better (I'd only been playing about 7 years, I was gigging 4 times a week in those days but didn't really understand what made things sound different)

I think you're wrong here. It was damaged during shipping. They cant be expected to unpack everything and check it, then put it back imto the box.

yep good experience for me too. Bought a Korg electric piano. A piece was broken, I sent them a photo and the new piece was sent out from Korg.

The black one with dots came from Livewire. I bought it in the summer of 1983

I've had two. A black one with dots on the pointy bits (also owned by someone else on here at some point) and one with an Inlayed tiger on the top horn (also owned by someone else on here) Great basses, a bit heavy I dont have a handy picture of the tiger bass

I loved my Flea bass. Superb pickups and I loved how the finish was wearing but I moved it on eventually, as the band I used it for finally disolved

the ignition basses are hollow and do have THAT sound. I have a contempory 500/1 (violin) and they sound slightly different because they have a solid bit running through them. But with the La Bella flat on it, it goes thud (very nicely) The Clubs do look cool though

Looks great

you do yes, and at 105 quid, simply rude not to get one
-
I have La Bella deep talking bass on my hofner and they make my fingers sore, when I dont use a pick I have Fender 9050L on my mustang and one of my P basses and I love them, the sound and the feel

ten years ago I ditched my Wharfedale stuff for 2 x QSC K12s and 2 x Ksub. awesome they are and fantastically reliable. I would always recommend them. I haven't tried or even seen the new updated versions -
yep, did my back 20 years ago. Lower down and now I have a disc sitting slightly out, which I can feel. I am just very careful these days. I dont leap about like I used to (think Sting, jumnping out and down) and I sure don't carry heavy stuff these days All bass gear is class D, I don't use any backline on duo gigs and no monitors now as I have gone IEM I do still lug the PA about but thats as light as it can be, QSC K12s and Ksubs
