And this is my first Police tribute called 'The Police squad'. That Ibanez bass is awesome!!
-
This is a late incarnation of Live n Kickin'. Ashford based band that did 30 years. Here I'm playing bass and fronting it. Our original bass player passsed away a few months previous to this but we carried on. It's what he wanted. That's Martin Kidd on guitar (Cornford/ Victory designer)
-
No, it's a weird one. They asked me to front it, it was my first time fronting a band and not playing the bass. It took me a while to get used to it
-
Originals band I ws in. Hope n Glory. Same drummer as early Scandal who went on to play with 'The Last Resort' and 'Torme' Bass player ended up with 'Torme' too. Lasted about 18 months, did a couple of great gigs
-
Updated version of Scandal from 2010. Me now on guitar, my wife on bass and the same lead guitarist called Tick
-
my band Scandal from 1990. Me at the front, my brother at the back on the left. 6 years we lasted, 639 gigs

I remember seeing them on The Tube. They were fanstastic. Dee Snider, what a frontman -

My 80s duo actually do 'Shaddupayourface'. We introduce is as the song that stopped Vienna reaching number 1. My mum is actually Italian and I was on my way to school one day and Terry Wogan played this. I thought my dad was going to die laughing because my mum did say 'Shaddupayourface' 😁

I think the advert is funny, I love the bass. Terrible demo by whoever that was. Love the binding and split inlays Would I buy one? Probably, but when I last had a Tbird, (a lovely white one from Nancy Johnson) it was too unwieldy for the pub gigs I was doing, so in the end I let it go I dont understand why Gibson don't offer white anymore, it's the best colour IMO -
quite a lot was filmed in Deal, Kent
-
I'm going to watch it as a lot of it was filmed where I used to live (until very recently)

This a picture of my first really good pub band called Roadhouse. It was taken on the roof of a club in Ramsgate (now it's the biggest Weatherspoons in the country) This is 1988/89. Me on the right with the White jacket!!

was a warm one yes. Some reggae band ( actually is was Steel Pulse, I've just checked) was bottled off before BC played. Thin Lizzy on the sunday was awesome. I was nearly 15, my first festival!! -

I was at that festival. IIRC Stuart stopped the set to try and stop people throwing bottles of p!ss -
Marc Bolan too. It would have been interesting wouldn't it. Collaborations with other artists, Hendrix would jam with Eddie Van Halen. Bolan and Bowie would have definately been a good one (they did jam together on the TV show Marc) So much missed potential and I really like Karen Carpenter's voice

My Marshall Jubilee did this, patch lead sorted it -

I really want to build a Deakey bass...where do I start?
police squad replied to Edenburgh's topic in Bass Guitars
nicely done -
bought my P bass in Boogie music in 1990. I still have that bass. Peter Cook himself sold me an Aria SBR-150 and someone on BC then bought my Manson Explorer that I traded in there
