Covers band are bands that play other people's music at various levels of pub and club to weddings. Some even putting there own spin on the tracks,some of the finest musos I've ever met are in cover bands, some even making a living from it. This just my definition of it... I struggle defining Jaffa Cakes though..

Friday a local one for us at the Freebird Newcaslte Under Lyme as the headline act. All the band played great but as per when last on most punters left, slightly deflating but our new drummer played a blinder so every cloud We also landed a few nice comments at the end which is cool.

So my trusty SVT pro 2 has gone wrong tonight, the light flashes at the front intermittently. It could be a valve has gone or something less costly but I have no money to fix it. Do I sell it and cut my losses and go back to solid state and if I do sell it what do I ask for it. Or save it and then when some cash comes my way get it sorted , bloody hell ...grumble moan.

Blue [/quote] This 100 percent, my advice for what it's worth make sure your rigg and bass are to a similar standard. Try as many basses amps and combinations as you can, make friends with your local music shops, they can be invaluable in helping you land on a bargain.
