1. No-one interested? Sad times!
2.
I traded this bass only because I couldn't get on with the 35" scaling. I do miss it though!
I remember looking at trading with you for this - looked perfect apart from the scale! Damn my tiny hands!
3. I realise that some may think this is more a theory forum topic, but I disagree, I think a lot of people who will get loads out of this will not necessarily see it there, and anyway, it's not a theory site, it's about bassplaying!
4. Hi all, I just wanted to share with you my favourite bass resource on the web, along with Janek Gwizdala's online lessons, Basso Ridiculoso. This guy does loads of transcriptions of Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Clifford Brown, Bill Evans as well as basslines by people like Paul Chambers et al. Not only that, but he analyses them and points out interesting harmonic stuff. I'm not affiliated with this website in any way, it's just a fabulous resource - so much stuff I cannot keep up! It's a really nice gift to the bass community and deserves support. Website HERE
5. He's outstanding, I'm transcribing some of his lines.

9. Good work! Killer tune!
10. Man, tempted by this, and I'm only in Chelmsford. I had one and loved it. Maybe I could come for a play if it's still unsold next week? I 'm in Italy on holiday til Sat at the moment!

re. iphone - if you take pics with portrait lock on and you photograph in landscape it will look like that nice bass!
12.
Where are you located?

pm'd you back.
Might be useful for this info to be shared, unless you're a spy....
13. Wes, it's outstanding! I think I definitely want one! I'd say YES to the matching headstock - it would look fabulous. And as you've said, this is an "inspired by.." bass, not a direct copy (although the relicing looked spot on!).
14. First Bass Owned: Yamaha RBX270 Fretless 'Go To' Bass: Sadowsky UV70 4-string 'Your' Bass: See above!
15. Where are you based?
16. For the OP I'm posting some photos of mine - I was the original owner of the bass, so let me stress that the condition these pictures show were as when I sold it.
17. Love that Nathan East! What's the string spacing?
18. Thanks for sharing, great. Makes me want an Imperial. Oh, and to be miles better!
19. Hi - this has literally just been sold and is now at a fantastic home! Thanks for the interest.
20. Absolutely stupendous, loved your playing and LOVE Mr Cottle!
21. Interesting! Sounds great.
22. If it was then I apologise for misinterpreting. Even if it's a dig at himself and his playing aged 17 it still could be quite offensive. Who knows? T'Internet, eh?
23. What scale length and string spacing please?
