1.
Thanx guys jazz or jass ,I'm not getting into realms of crap.
I simply asked you a civil question, Richard - but thanks for your rude response.
2. I have no problem bumping a fellow BCers thread! Thanks for the link, very interesting. Richardd, are you big into Dixieland, or that group in general?
3.
It happened to me at the recent Stanley Clarke gig, I only got to see two songs, he walked past me at least an hour before he started to play.
Luckily I was able to attend the whole Stanley gig, but I had to leave Hiromi and her band at Ronnie Scotts before they'd finished. Most annoying.
4. Just out of curiousity, why do you always spell Jazz "Jass" in all your auctions? Regards Mike
5.
It was awesome. Shame they came on so late, had to leave early to catch the last train
Why do they always do that? Does my head in! Do they think everyone is lucky enough to live within walking distance of central London?
6. I really like Dean Markley Blue Steels. I also received a bass recently with Daddario Hi Beams (I think) that are very nice too. What bass and type of music is it for?
7. Woo, go South East :-)
8. Brilliant, thanks. I'm working on a few, will post when they're done.
9. My money is in the pot!
10. Am I the only one who sped-read this auction, and started scrabbling around PM'ing to buy before realising it was a neck only sale? D'oh!
11. I like the "Battery" vst plug in .
12. Hey Nathan, I don't have an Elrick, but I do have the Cort Elrick - designed by Elrick and built in Korea by Cort, and it's very nice. I think you'll find quite a few Elrick users on www.talkbass.com. Good luck! Regards Mike
13. I can't make it either, sadly, absolutely gutted. Have a great time!
14. Thanks Gwil, a joy to meet you!
15. Bump - still available, not worried whether it goes or not really, still enjoying it, just not gigging with it.
16. Great stuff - best of luck to her!
17. Generally I bring two basses, and for two reasons. The primary one is that my main bass is a Shuker 4 - but some of the band songs require a 5 string. I'm having a 5 string Shuker built right now, but for the moment I'll take a Cort 5 or even a Smith 6. Another reason is that you never know what will happen - especially with active instruments, so it's useful and calming knowing I have another available to me.
18. Hey Vicki, that's lovely. Where are you based, out of interest?
19. Hmm. Thanks for the headsup - I think I could be very tempted with a red Precision with matching headstock. Hmmm indeed.
20. This is a shame - I recall just very recently you were selling something else because your dream bass had come up for sale (this one) and you'd purchased it. How disappointing to see it going so quickly. If you don't mind my asking, what is the band sound? And how does a pretty basic precision not "fit" ? In my experience (many years fewer than you) a P fits in almost anywhere! Regards Mike
21. Cool, I'll check it out. Hopefully someone can post a link if we miss it.
22. Just a quick $0.02 from me - I met up with Gwil recently and he couldn't be a more pleasant, helpful gent, and the bass is beautiful!
23. Ah - so it isn't yours? No problem - thought you were selling your own Jaydee - just very poorly! If it's one you've seen on eBay, we have a dedicated forum for that. In the future though, it's often nice to provide a link or something to help out your fellow forumites. Regards Mike
24. I think this wins the "worst for sale thread" award - and frankly there's been some serious competition!
