2. What a lovely pair ! I do love Tele style basses. Glad to see it's still around. I loved it! Those basslines were superb pickups - what are your thoughts?
3.
true true, but probably is worth what your askin, but you might struggle to get a sale because of mikes goin cheap
Hmm. I think I have a buyer for mine, Kev. Basically I've got good deals on BC before and wanted to spread a bit of love!
4.
Thought I was second in the Queue Mike
To be honest, Muppet had already said he wanted it and was ready to pay, so I was merely acknowledging Beedster, knowing I would have to email everyone who was interested and let them know it had gone. So apologies, but just a question of semantics.
5. Hi from Chelmsford!
6.
I seem to recall that there was also a sunburst'n'blocks BRC tele bass knocking about, too. I loved that.
Wow, never saw that. Any pics in the recesses of your hard drive?
7. Looks like the bass has been sold. Payment pending! Thanks for all the interest. Does anyone else get the guilt at telling people it's probably been sold? I feel awful about it. Wish I had one for everyone!
8. Sanctioned it! Hilarious! This bass, potentially, could have been a right slut!
9. Smartypants!
10. Nope, most certainly fretted. Sorry if I confused anyone (SiBob, I'm looking at you), I meant I replaced the fretless neck on my 68 jazz with this fretted neck to see what the bass sounded like with frets.
11. Must be Hell for your family!!
12. A possible offer - but technically still available. I should find out tonight if the buyer is interested.
13. I've always liked this Yamaha promo shot of Nick Fyffe (ex Jamiroquai). I've always thought looking down a bass from the headstock or up from the bridge gives the best view. Unfortunately this is the biggest version of the picture I could find!
14. ^^ What he said. If you're really not sure, in the scheme of things, getting another PG would cost next to nothing.

16. Just curious. I loved this bass, bought it from David (eubassix) then went to Beedster and through a few forum members. I really miss it. Just hoping it has a good home. Sniff.
17. Hi guys, bit of a pride and joy here. A Sting signature, with upgraded pickup (This Seymour Duncan), a tortoiseshell pickguard, and accurate (and devilishly hard to get hold of) chrome guards. I will also include a fitted, hardshell case, and the original pickup and white pickguard. I sanded the back of the neck slightly to get rid of that thick gloss that I'm not a fan of. It feels a hundred times better to my hands now - there is a little discolouration in one area, but nothing too bad. Worth it for the feel, in my book. I can get a picture of it if it's an important point to anyone. The upgraded pup gives it a huge boomy, classic P sound - really beefy, very simple of course but sits so nicely in a band! Reason for sale? My Shuker, of course! It's just not getting played anymore. And how am I going to afford Shuker no2? Exactly! Shipping is £20, or ideally picked up from Chelmsford, Essex, for free! I have someone who has expressed an interest in this bass - so if I get a PM from them confirming the want it, they have first dibs. You know who you are! But otherwise - fire away! £400 - a very fair price, I feel, considering the extras. I've priced up new ones from £565 to £450.
18. I could do with slimming in all sorts of ways, Kev! I'm afraid I'm not after a Sub - cheers though. This is a pretty decent price (to say the least, in my opinion!).
19. eBay Link You are looking at a superb, eighties Roland Rhodes MK-80 digital piano. This replaced the electro-mechanical Fender Rhodes back in the 1980's. It's quite large, very heavy and sounds great! I've been using it primarily as a midi-controller. This model has been used heavily by many well-known artists, particularly Herbie Hancock. The action is superb, quite heavy, so perfect for pianists. I read somewhere that it was modelled on a Bechstein Grand Piano. As you would expect, the rhodes/electric piano sounds are wonderful - from classic Steely Dan-esque Fender Rhodes tones to later Mike McDonald DX7 sounds. There are four of these electric pianos (all editable). There are also 2 acoustic pianos, vibes, clavichord. You can also add and adapt chorus, tremelo and phase, as well as EQ. It's extremely tweakable. It's 88key, and comes with a duel pedal, as well as a metal, sturdy, fold up stand. The condition is fairly good, the normal scuffs and scratchings you would expect with a piano this age. The only issue is one C# a few octaves above middle C where the note is a bit sticky and sometimes stays down - I'm advised that this is easily fixed (probably just needs unscrewing and a clean) but worth mentioning. You can find reviews at Harmony Central. http://reviews.harmony-central.com/reviews...odes/MK-80/10/1 Reason for sale - too large for my studio. Even though it sounds great through an amp (even better through one with tubes I imagine) I have downgraded to a smaller model. As stated previously, I use it primarily as a midi controller so anything can do! This is a large item, and postage would be astronomical, so it really needs to be picked up. I'm in Chelmsford, Essex - very near the A12, which connects to the M25. For a transport fee I could deliver over a reasonable distance. PM for more details! I'll also include the original manual with this item. Re payment - I would prefer either a cheque, online bank transfer or cash on collection. I can accept paypal but would rather not as the fees are so prohibitive for accepting money! But if that's a problem, we can discuss it.
20. This is a 1999 Fender Precision Special Bass which was a limited edition of basses that Fender USA made. They featured a Precision bodied bass but with the thinner jazz neck and the P/J pick-up configuration. Just the body from this 1999 USA Precision Special has been used with the addition of the following major improvements: - Allparts USA Jazz Bass Neck with black block inlays. - Hipshot tuners. - Hipshot "D" Tuner. - EMG P/J Active pick-ups. - Aguilar OBP-2 band E.Q. fitted in control cavity, controls are now vol, vol and stack-knob treble/bass. - Leo Quan Badass II Chrome Bridge. - Fender USA replacement "Black Pearloid" pickguard. As you may or may not have noticed I am trying to to slim down my bass collection. I need shot a few of my basses, keeping only what I truly need to gig and learn with. I don't want to make profit on this - selling for the price I bought at: £395 Shipping will include a HARD PRECISION case, and be £20 - or picked up with no cost, of course! Any questions - PM me! Regards Mike
