  1. Read this last night and found some of the comments thought provoking. Reviving it to give any recently joined members a chance to do likewise, whether they own, have owned or have no wish to ever own a FCS model.
  2. Superb book on an excellent player and singer. Bought it on its release day and thoroughly enjoyed it. GLWTS
  3. Looks like the OP here has now been banned from this site.
  4. Go Nilo. I have missed you my friend. 👍
  5. Hello to you.
  6. That's exactly what I thought as well!
  7. These basses are killer. VBW for a successful sale.
  8. Great to see this thread still hits an emotional spot. 👀👍
  9. Resurrecting this for any newer members.
  10. Excellent! I have a player's brain.
  11. All the best Dave. I hope all works out for you, whatever you decide to do. They'll have a week of mourning in Biggar.
  12. I just snapped yet another of those flimsy 9volt battery connectors on a bass. Over the years, I've tried all ways of disconnecting and still the damned things break. I know that basses like Musicman don't use the usual flimsy connectors, but surely there must be a better way that this common method. Arrrrrrggggghhhhh! And, breathe ...
  13. That is one fine instrument. GLWTS
  14. Any American Fender will be worth £10,000 and Wals will be worth £1,200. 😉
  15. If only I'd spent more attention to my Esperanto teacher.
  16. Never met Nick but so sad to hear of another good person passing.
  17. Overwater are my favourite basses. I'd say they are generally up there with the best in the world. I'm sure both of yours will be excellent. Enjoy.
  18. Good grief Brian! Stop it! Stop it! Stop it! (Pretty please)
  19. About fifteen years ago, I bought a second-hand Reunion leather gig-bag from a mate of mine. The bag was in excellent condition, but had obviously been used/stored in numerous smokey pubs, etc. Two days opened up and left outside in sunshine and a light spring breeze, did the trick as if by magic. Try a couple of decent days towards the end of February if we get them. You'll be amazed. Good luck and don't bin that bag. 🤥
