  1. The very place! Small world my friend.
  2. Spookily, I went from Edinburgh to Derby and back to buy an Ovation Elite Collector's six-string once upon a decade. If I remember, the shop may have been called Charles Faulds?
  3. 'Basses on the Lawn'?
  4. Yo Stubs, A more than impressive collection there. Might I bother you for your thoughts/impressions regards the 60's Fender P? Quite fancy one of those and would value your opinion. Best Snorks
  5. Just bought a book from Mick. Exemplary communication and he even set up a feedback thread for me. Full confidence in this man. 👍
  6. Thanks for setting this one up Mickey. Will keep a close watch on what you're offering for sale in future and will 'call again'. Best wishes Pete
  7. Cheers for this. Just ordered. 👍
  8. I've been with my current bass for 47 years Bill, but over that period, have owned around another 1965! 😂
  9. Just a WARNING to anyone considering these Fender bags. Read the spec from Fender, as they should not be used to store a bass with a nitro-finish. Just sayin'.
  10. Or even in F minor.
  11. Sounds fine, but not the Holey Grail it claims to be.
  12. I can honestly say that our three-piece band must be in the ranking of worst-sounding clap-trap out there. I certainly wouldn't listen to us.
  13. A lot of Spinal Pap more like. 😎
  14. Lovely trio. I've been playing for over fifty years now and have had all the usual suspects, including Wal, Alembic, Spector, Dingwall, etc. overwater basses are the hands-down winners for me. Enjoy.
  15. Very nice - My bass-kit level is way above my ability. 😂
  16. Dear God! Do I?
  17. There's a fine second-hand sixer Overwater on the Guitar Guitar website right now - and no, I don't work there. 😁
  18. Neeps, are you addressing everyone here, or just this punter Ergo?
  19. Brightened my day that did. 👍 Thanks Mick.
  20. These are great basses. I've been gigging mine for years and still love its sound.
  21. This qualifies for the coolest-looking Precision I've seen for years. 😍🥰
  22. I'd say flats should be good for at least five years gigging 2-3 nights per week if cleaned after each.
  23. How long before the coveted Ricks will only be the ones with the 'original' pickup covers. The musician-consumer is a strange beast. 😁
  24. Excellent! Well done you and @bertbass. Peace breaks out at last! 😃
