  1. It plays really well though. Using in in my Mrs Mills tribute band and it looks the part as well.
  2. Bump to push back up the line so more folks can see this.
  3. As I recall, we have a member here called John Luke Pickguard?
  4. A very fine bass indeed and I bet that neck just glides like Torvill and Dean? Enjoy for a very, very long time. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
  5. 95% of our current set. 🤣
  6. Don't know if both outputs can be activated at the same time; they might be? I normally use XLR for studio and jack for live
  7. Chuck us a link Dan, please.
  8. Usually with the Big 'O', you need to plug a quarter inch jack into the standard socket, before the XLR activates. That jack-plug doesn't have to be attached to a cable though.
  9. @briansbrew Don't know what you do in NI to keep coming up with this never-ending stream of excellence. Whatever it is, long may it continue.
  10. Looking good. Enjoy.
  11. Steady Spons! Steady!
  12. Just bought a gig bag from BD. Ordered on Thursday and arrived 22hours later with pen and sticker. Excellent service yet again.
  13. Just ordered a set of strings for my Precision from Mark at BD and he couldn't have been more helpful. A pleasure dealing with him.
  14. Ooooh, this is difficult. Probably an Overwater Jazz V - blocks, ebony board, quilted maple or moon ebony top. I'd go for two Barefaced 1x12" Already have my Aggie 751, so would spend on a Fender CS Precision 4. (It must be said, I would nab a CAR Roscoe Beck V if one were to become available, even before the above.)
  15. I think it's a sucker on the wall to prevent neck-dive, and the switch is for the on-stage kettle, should Mr Squire require a Cupasoup between numbers.
  16. Usually 'dummy' coils to negate interference I think?
  17. Sorted.
  18. Interesting projection @LeftyJ. I wonder if things will fall into the pre/post situation we have now (Fender by Leo, Fender after Leo, Fender post CBS, Etc.), and we'll see 'real' Wals as those made by Wal himself and/or Pete the Fish? What will be a 'desirable' Overwater? When Chris retires, will current owners be sitting on gold mines? Oh, for a crystal ball (pre-acrylics of course).
  19. Why mod it? Just don't dime the volume (and adjust bass/mid/treble to taste).
  20. I never turn the volume of my active basses up fully. Try around a third to half volume on the bass, keep the input level low enough to avoid distortion and use your master volume on the amp to provide volume.
  21. I don't think that this can actually be done (without the help of Q Section). I have a bass with the same gold pickguard and silver controls. If I were you, I'd leave well alone and learn to love it.
  22. My '91
  23. Here's a couple from 2018.
