  1. For me, it's the EBS chorus every time.
  2. Yes indeed - very lovely. This won't last long.
  3. Good for you - that's one serious achievement and one to be very proud of. Hang in there bud. 👍
  4. Triad - David Crosby
  5. Ooooooooh! A Metro on top of a 1x18 should = bass utopia. 👀👍
  6. I'm in the first category .
  7. Both parents sang and recorded singles for limited release to friends and family. My father sang in pubs, clubs, etc. I remember that there was always music going on in my house as a child. Still remember whole songs sang by them, although I'm talking sixty-plus years ago. That's probably why I describe myself as a singer who plays bass, rather than a bassist who sings.
  8. Jig a jig - East of Eden
  9. As long as I'm playing the bass, I know I have a major tube as the first stage of my signal chain. 😉
  10. Call the Fire Brigade - The Move
  11. Eclectic Ladyland - Himmy Brianrix. Excellent album.
  12. One Way Street -Aerosmith
  13. Yep, started on a Ripper over 46 years ago and still play it regularly. GLWTS
  14. My Bucket's Got a Hole in it - Hank Williams
  15. Niiiiiiiiiiiiice!
  16. Belated, but warm welcome buddy.
  17. Rosie - Don Partridge
  18. I'm on-record in the forum stating I don't enjoy live music at all (playing or listening), so I get where you're coming from. I've even lied to people asking me to dep or jam, claiming I have no gear, etc. Sometimes it feels like flogging a long-dead horse to me, so I now play mostly at home when the urge takes me. Still enjoy looking at basses, but as in the old BB King track, the thrill is [long] gone in my case. Whatever you decide to do, I hope it works out for you. Even if you sell the gear, unless you're chasing 'stardom', it's not going to bust the bank to buy some stuff and start playing again sometime in the future.
  19. Love what you've done here. Watching the creation of a family heirloom. 👍
  20. Well done. You guys bring back my faith in the insane world.
  21. I thought it was the i-Phone 15 with upgrades?
  22. And so, we leave Neepheid, safely home and tucked up in bed at HMP Grampian. Night night Neepheid. Night night viewers.
