  1. I could flog you a used pair of diver's boots? 😊
  2. Long haired Lover From Liverpool - Ickle Jimmy Osmond
  3. There's always another time to play music if the keyboard idea doesn't fly. As mentioned above: good luck, quick recovery and we'll hopefully hear from you on the other side of the procedure. Protect yourself above all. Best Snorks 👍
  4. Band on the Run - Wings
  5. So after you play the song, do you then sell it back to him at profit? Sounds like you've hit on the perfect money-making ruse. Rodger (oo-er!) the Dodger would be proud of you.
  6. He told me this during our endless counselling sessions. (In best Frankie Howerd voice , "Poor Soul!")
  7. I wish you'd joined mine. Do you play drums? Guitar? Sing? I'm happy to vacate the bass-chair and go to the bar. 😋
  8. We could form a combo - The Greetin' Bassists. 😭
  9. I'm never allowed to turn it on - something about silence and respect for the music. 😞

  19. Crying in the Rain - The Everly Brothers

  21. I once had a Capri that fell apart when it hit 50😂
  22. True, but you should see the shapes I can throw. They keep my osteopath wealthy.
  23. Hello Glenn. Excellent attitude. I really hope it works out for you and the Gigging Glenn becomes a reality. Try to play with others, even if they are better than you - this need not necessarily be in a gigging environment. You'll pick up examples of when to sit back and when to play harder; when to let the music breathe, etc. The more you become involved, the easier it will be to get that band together - maybe even well-before you retire. Best Snorkie
  24. I dream of being able to play. 🥴
  25. You should have told me. I'd have gone quietly into a corner and cried. 😭
