    Just bought a virtually new amp but the push/pull function on the tone controls seem to have an issue. When I pull the bass know out(which gives it a boost) the amp makes a loud buzzing sound and the volume of the instrument virtually disappears. If in then switch it off and back on it works fine again. Any ideas what the issue might be? The seller will take it back but I like it and git it for a very good price so want to keep it ideally. Thanks.

    Hi, Anyone familiar with these amps? They have push/pull knobs on the bass and mids/treble. I have just bought one (that the old owner may be getting back!) And when they're pulled out the amp distorts and the volume disappears and then if I switch it on and off its OK again. Is this something cheap to sort out as I like the amp but if it's a dear fix then it's going back to where I got it from. Thanks

    Just did a part ex deal for Julian's p bass. Hassle free and a top bloke to deal with. The people of Featherstone were on good for too and the bass played like a dream. Thanks.

    Selling as I have bought the double version. Auto grab feature so great for odd shaped basses that won't sit in normal stand.collection from Leicester. All in good order. Never left the house.cheers

    Anyone know what gauge would be on these originally as I have bought one and someone has put flats on and I think they have just bought the same gauge as the orginal roundwound's as the E in particular hardly sits in the nut. I want to replace them but didn't want to buy from a shop due to high costs so not sure how to work out what gauge I need. Thanks in advance.

    Selling as it was a back up bass. These cost around £300 when they came out. It's in great condition and is strung with flats and sounds great, very sixties tone to it.collect from Leicester or could meet locally with a reasonable distance.

    Not sure.serial number points to 2007 but I've seen these switching models listed as 2007/2008 before??

    Very very reluctant sale but skint so it's up for grabs. The bass has only been gigged half a dozen times and has been indoors for the rest of its life. Comes in Fender case with candy and Fender strap. Odd bit of buckle rash and the odd blemish but hard to pick up on the camera so viewing more than welcome. I have the original white plate it came with which is included in the sale (I paid £40 for the black one so it isn't a cheapo one) based in Leicester for collection or meet up within reasonable distance,postage a possibility. Not looking for trades as I wouldn't sell it if I didn't need the money.     I've been offered a swap on my MIA std Precision but might decline. They look lovely basses but don't seem a lot different to regular MIM''s considering they're nearly doubl the price.
