1. Typical, the one I want is the most expensive But I will buy it eventually. When will you have pictures of the Vintage up? Zach
2. Have you got any idea how much the postage on this is? Very interested in it. Zach
3. Noooooooooo!!!! I wanted that Superfly Head as well. Zach
4. Feck, I only have £200, and I doubt your going to let this go for that. Really wish I had the cash for this, looks fantastic and I've only ever heard good things about these amps. Zach
5. Roughly how big is the Little Big Muff in comparison to say, a Boss pedal? If its about the right size, I may well have it off you. Zach
6.
Don't forget your brolly and wet weather clothing!
And your stab vest. This is Manchester we are talking about. Zach
7. Don't suppose you have a rough price in mind maybe? May well buy this if its the right price for me. Zach
8. You willing to trade my Warwick Profet 3.2 for you Max 450? Zach
9. Mwahaha, mine! All mine! As soon as I get round to posting him my pedal that is. Zach
10. Unless its actually a sterling silver body, I don't care Looks great, even more unique then the usual boat paddle haha. Zach
11. Come on guys, someone must want something. Zach
12. AC-DC: Fly on The Wall £10 Powerage £10 Flick of the Switch £10 Let There Be Rock £10 Highway To Hell £10 For Those About to Rock, We Salute You £10 Alcatrazz: Disturbing The Peace £10 Deep Purple: In Rock £10 Def Leppard: Pyromania £10 Iron Maiden: The Number of The Beast £10 Killers £10 Stranger In a Strange Land (That Girl, Juanita) £15 Motorhead: No Sleep Till Hammersmith (Live) (x2) £10 each Nazareth: Greatest Hits £10 Saxon: Strong Arm Of the Law £10 Judas Priest: Defenders of The Faith £10 White Snake: Trouble £10 The Accelerators: E.P. (That's what it says on the sleeve) £5 ZZ Top: Sharp Dressed Man (A side) I got the Six (B side) LA Grange (B side) £10 El Loco £10 Fandango £10 Deguello £10 Only reason I'm selling these is because I don't own a record player, and I could do with some cash. Could be some real gems in here, especially the Maiden 'Stranger In a Strange Land' which just so happens to be the picture vinyl version. I'm just assuming that those are fairly rare, so its just a little bit more then the rest. I'm not sure how much postage for one of these is, so if someone would be kind enough to find out for me, it would be greatly appreciated. The Sleeves for most of these are in fine condition, with just a few little scrapes, etc. but the Iron Maiden picture vinyl doesn't have a sleeve, but a plastic sleeve, the kind that you put the actual sleeve inside of to protect them. Buy them together or separate, or even offer me a trade with some bass or guitar stuff for a few of them. Zach
13. Mate, you need to do the same to the cab as well, then it would look like a rainbow was sick on your rig. In a good way, of course. Zach
14. Nah, matt_citizenbass has run, walk! in his sig. Zach
15. £5, my best offer I wish I had the cash to spend on this, would be absolutely awesome. I heard one at a gig recently, and I actually was debating whether or not to hit the bassist round the head, and steal his lol. Good luck with the sale, these are immense amps. Zach
16. I want this, but I doubt I would be able to get hold of it, even if I did have the cash. Good luck with the sale. Zach
17. Wednesday Bump-age Zach
18. What it says on the tin really. 4 string fretted MIM Jazz, 3 colour sunburst, white 'guard, rosewood board, original electronics, all that kind of stuff, but with graphite nut, rather then the usual bone/synthetic one that you usually get. This is because the bone nut actually broke into two pieces, one pinging away mid-set. Luckily, I managed to borrow another bass, and I got the graphite nut as soon as I could. Action is reasonable, not too low, not too high, so you can dig in with a pick or fingers and have no rattle, but still be able to get up the dust end easily. Has Dunlop Dual Design straplocks currently attached to the body, which are the kind that will take a normal strap as well, but the bridge end had to be toothpick and glued in to hold it steady as it kept coming unscrewed. IF you want pics, just ask on here and they will be up as soon as I can get hold of a camera. What do we think to £250 O.N.O? Just say if you think its too high. Zach
19.
zach..fantastic avatar dude :-) yessikris...replied :-) why dont none of you selfish buggers want the ashton i want the selmer..;-)
Haha, thanks. I saw it and just laughed my a$$ off. Not to sure about the Ashton, never heard much about those, but like you said, it's a practice amp, and I'm looking for something with real power and tonal quality, and from the little I have heard about Ashton, they aren't what I'm looking for. Zach
20. Ahh, that's a shame. If you happen to still have it afterwards, drop me a message, and if I can stretch to it, I'll have it off you. Good luck with the sales, but not so much that the Selmer goes Zach
21. Could I do a part exchange with you for my Warwick Profet 3.2 on the Selmer? Have heard great things about them, would love to own one. Zach
22. Hey, you got a price just for the Firebass? I could do a part exchange with my Warwick Profet 3.2 if you want. PM me if you want to do a deal or anything, but I would need it posting or couriering. Zach
23.
OK, so taking nostalgia as a starting point and projecting 20 years into the future where the teenagers who are currently making do with schecters, warwick rock basses and yamahas can actually afford something a little more high end, what noughties basses are they going to look back on and wish they'd really owned? Warwick Katana? Status Graphite S2? Spector NS-5XL? In the current music scene I can't see a lot of movement away from the vintage Fender market myself. I'm not aware of anything contemporary and distinctive which is drawing most teenage bass players away from that. Warwick was about as close as it got, in my view. But I'm sure there are some teen bassists on the forum who could describe what they think they'd like to own 20 years from now?
Oh go on then Personally, I would probably be looking to own a Spector, or maybe a Jackson, something like the Chris Beattie signature, the bassist for Hatebreed. But you might want to check in with the other teenager around my age knocking about on the forum, M4L666 I think it is. Zach
