1. Don't suppose anyone wants to play my Fender MIM Jazz. Nothing special really, but I like it and was wondering if I should bother bringing it. Not bringing my amp though, too big. Zach
2. Yeah, that mic stand looks far too tall for him, muppet will strain his neck or something. Zach
3. If they are free, send a few packs of RS66 my way yeah? lol Zach
4. Just plug in, boost mids and treble, pull the bass back a bit to get a nice clang-y tone, just what I like, although can sometimes lack low end. Zach
5. My bass stays in the CYN (cover your nuts) area, which I find most comfortable. Also by happy coincidence the full length of my strap, so I know where to put it if someone adjusts it. Zach
6. Just saw a review for these the other day, and was shocked when I saw the price, less then £10! Nicklewound with red cotton ends, absolute bargain. Review said the reason they are so cheap is because, yes, they are made in china, but also because the packaging is minimal with practically no colour, and they are only offered in four string sets in 40-95 and 45-100. Worth a pop at less then £10 I reckon, new set every gig at that price even. Zach
7. Do it, I did with my Jazz and its fine, plays even better. Fine sandpaper until you cant see the finish anymore is what I did, then I just put a bit of lemon oil on, for no apparent reason lol. Plays great now, nothing to hinder hand movement. Zach
8. Usually wherever I can fit in, doesn't matter about where my amp is, just where I have standing room. And I tend to move around alot on stage so It doesn't matter a whole lot lol. Zach
9. Actually, The Chilli Peppers are known to come up in my bass trying set. Higher Ground and Around the World are my favourites. Flashy, but not too flashy. Zach
10. I quite like the Punk Bass. Not entirely sure why, but it just appeals to me. This Bass Extravaganza guy is a genius IMO. Zach
11. Umm, Paradise City Highway To Hell Come on Feel The Noise Born To Be Wild My Generation Foxy Lady Stairway To Heaven That's all I can think of really. Hope it helps. Zach
12. I just sit down, stick my mp3 player on, then just play along to a few tracks, usually blink 182 or something. Zach
13.
Do people seriously not know who JJB is? I'm a die hard funkster and even I know and appreciate his playing. Maybe it's an age thing?
I know who JJ is, really. I'm genuinely surprised that Wayne doesn't know who he is though, especially considering I'm the metal kid round these parts and even I know who he is.
The youth of today today, eh? Emo this, nu that, I don't know - I like both kinds of music - metal and punk.
+1, if its good, I'll listen to it. Zach

16. Quick question, is the Warwick head 2 units? I've got it, but not quite sure on its racked size. Zach
17. I really want to try one of those lightwave pickup systems, sounds like it could be great. Good concept at any rate. Zach
18. I reckon 'The Not So Big One' would work well. Zach
19. No More Stars Over Bethlehem - Protest The Hero Absolutely love these guys, musical genius. Zach

Wish I had the cash for it. Zach
21. Ahh, that's a shame, would like to try this out. !x15's good, but for my purpose (pop punk kinda thing) I need less bass. Zach
22. Just had a look at the site, and the boards they make look fantastic. If I had the money, and enough pedals to not make me look like a twat then I would get one made for me. Zach

24.
After looking at the range for about 15 minutes, I’ve got over my initial disappointment that the Zender bass isn’t a Streamer and I actually quite like it; kind of looks a bit like an Infinity. I’d go as far to say that I’d be very interested in having a closer look at one if there wasn’t a voice at the back of my head telling me that it’s likely to retail around the £1800 - £2k mark and therefore pricing me out Other than that - Regardless of limited editions, I’ll never buy a Corvette…
Actually, after I looked at it for a while, I realised that it is a streamer shape, but with parts of the horns cut away. If it wasn't for that it would just be a streamer shape. Zach
25. Perhaps, maybe I should try super light 5 string strings and just get rid of the G. Whats the lightest gauge I can get 5 string sets in? Zach
