Dunlops are good, and Dimarzio CLiplocks, which is what I use on my main bass, although the strap itself is quite slippy so neck diving basses aren't a good choice for these. Zach

I drop in every now and again to look at the bass and drum stuff. Great selection for bass, plenty of the usual Fenders, Squires, Peavey, etc. as well as some lovely Warwicks, a vintage T40, and some great Musicmans. Zach

If you want to keep bottom end, then a blend is probably the best way to go for you. I'm probably wrong, but I'm sure Boss LS-2's have a blend, and they are reasonably cheap. Zach

Turn the gain down a bit? Also, if you're looking for a bass specific distortion, can't go far wrong with the Ashdown James Lomenzo Hyperdrive, great pedal, cheap as well. Zach

Get an original, and with the money you saved not buying a reissue, get it set up, etc. and then go get somewhat drunk. Zach

The shape does slightly remind me of the Ibanez BTB with it's ultra slim horns, but it does look pretty good. Zach

Actually, think I just figured it out. the main problem was that it's a complete mess in the cavity, but I cut the ziplock and shifted some of the wires, and I think I've figured out where to solder the wires now. If I have any trouble, I'll probably cry, then come back on here and ask you lol. Zach

Hey guys, I just got a 6 string bass, and the guy I traded with included a pair of EMG 45Z pickups, wonderful. However, I do not have the slightest clue as to what to do when it comes to installing them. It's an active bass with an active/passive pull switch in the volume pot. Any clues? Zach

Sunburst with a black pickguard is nice, I think. But, I saw Random Hand a while back, and the bassist was playing a jazz with a nice purple sparkle and a black pickguard, absolutely gorgeous bass. Zach

Boost pedal afterwards? Just kick them on when you're gonna use it. Or, get a cheap loop pedal and put the wah in there, and boost the volume on the loop. Zach
