That's a fair point when I do a Punk scene gig we usually share cabs and drums, it's usually London gigs where the problem arises. How many times have I used you cab?
We use each others cabs everytime we play together. Without fail. Except when we're on different stages... Thats how it works, we phone you up a few days before saying "you bring drums and a guitar cab we'll bring bass cab and a guitar cab?" you go "yea cool" and its sorted. If anyone else phones up we say, "we'll have all the cabs and drum shells, you just need breakables" If they dont phone up, they use their own gear, unless its wonk unit. they can do what they want.
-
We lend cabs, you break it you buy it. Dont lend heads cos ours are all on their way out anyway. We do over 100 gigs a year... It depends on your scene. The gigs we do have a proper community feel about them. Everyone helps out, everyones friends, everyones pleasant. Then you get the occasional people who turn up with just a bass and a lead... "where do i plug in?" Speak to the soundman, not my problem. Sorted. You need to judge it on the situation. If we're playing with a band whos just come back from america and all they have is their instruments and they email us a few days before explaining the situation and asking to borrow gear, thats fine. If a local band turns up on the night with just instruments expecting to borrow gear, thats not fine. Easy. Look after each other and you'll get looked after. No respect, no gig.

Selling this as im moving house, looking for a 5 guitar stand to use at gigs. Only ever used this at home, bit dusty and some of the foam dividers are losing their covering. Would ideally like to trade for a five guitar stand + cash depending on quality. pic pic should be at that link. i dont know how to use these things. Otherwise would probably be after £50 - £60. oh and its a stagg. this one infact HERE

My 810 is the best thing ive ever bought. Doing the gigs i do, the sound is always awful and its always loud. without the 810 id hardly ever hear myself. its easy to move cos like everyone else said, you can roll it or its a 2 person job. unless you're a solo act, you'll have another person. I keep mine in the van... just because its the only space i have to keep it. But you wont regret getting one, having that power behind you just makes gigging so much easier. saves your fingers too cos you dont play so hard trying to hear yourself. the drummer loves it cos hes got bass right at his head. it looks amazing too. and people get our your way. its easy to life in and out of the van/ car by yourself and if you get an old, beaten one it wont even matter, throw it around, drag it upstairs. it'll just take it and keep on blasting the back of your head everynight. do it.

Ive been using this as a back up bass and.. hardly using it. Its not been out of its case for months so ive decided i can do without it. Its been modded. It has all black hardware, cavitys have been copper lined, DR Parts Precision neck added. I dont have the original neck though.. The only problem with it is i havent screwed in the tuning pegs properly, but sorting that out is a 10 minute job. Im open to anything, if anyones interested just PM me. Pics soon when i find them on the internet... £160

Helloooo, My bands been offered a "part endorsement" with Dovetail strings. Never heard of or used them before but they're offering me bass strings for £10 a pack instead of £24.99. I'm paying 15.99 or more for my Ernie Balls at the moment.. my thinking is, even if they're not the best strings in the world, it'll save me a lot of money on tour. there's no contract and they're very keen to get feedback from us about the strings. Just wondering if anyone has used them before or if anyone on here has been offered the same endorsement? Doesnt seem like theres much to lose, unless they're poisoned or something... and apologies if this is in the wrong place. x
Looking good, Ben, did you get rid of the synth?
Naaaa i realised i was an idiot and just put the synth before the muff instead of after it... but i sprayed the pick guard for the SUB black. its flaking off and it looks banging.
