  1. I did a superglue drop fill on the side of an acoustic guitar where the finish had chipped off to expose a small area of bare wood. After scraping the filled-in area flat with a single edged razor blade and sanding/pollishing it, the repair was invisible.
  2. Was the screw there when you took it to the luthier and missing when you got it back? - if so then surely its his responsibility to either find the missing screw or source a replacement.
