  1. I have a can of WD40 branded contact cleaner from Amazon which has cleaned up several crackly pots & switches nicely.
  2. I can hardly comprehend that a brand so highly regarded would come up with such an inelegant solution to a problem that doesn't exist. This is the kind of thing I'd expect from basschat's favourite guitar improver. What next? foderas with the tuners set at jaunty angles and the bridge hanging off the ar$e end of the body.
  3. Never known questions - The Residents
  4. Sleepy - The Handsome Family
  5. I have a pair of JMJ signature mustangs which are absolutely excellent in every way. It would be good to get my hands on Mr Meldal-Johnsen's original '67 the signatures are based on.
  6. Dumbo the Clown - The Residents
  7. B.J. Blues / Baby What You Want Me to do - The Byrds
  8. Wanda the Worm Woman - The Residents
  9. Looks like a bad chinese knockoff to me. Everything on it is a bit off. I hope you didn't pay too much for it.
  10. Double Shot - The Residents
  11. Albatross - Fleetwood Mac
  12. You can fit a set of Gotoh res-o-lite GB640 to your Vintera 60s Jazz. These should fit without needing to redrill and they will be lighter than the stock tuners. They won't turn the wrong way like the stock tuners do unless you mistakenly order the GB640R (reverse) version. They should cost a few quid over £100. I bought my sets from tonetech.
  13. I have two favourites: The hipshot HB7 lollipops on my vintera & JMJ mustangs look great and work exactly as a tuner should. The Gotoh res-o-lite GB640s sets I put on my Thunderbird vintage pros not only look great and work perfectly, they are also ultra light and are the only ones I know of in this vintage 50s/60s style that turn the same way as the tuners on all of my other basses.
  14. Voodoo Doll - The Residents
  15. They are the meat - The Residents
  16. Back in the USSR - The Beatles
  17. Hard and Tenderly - The Residents
  18. Bobbie's burning blues - The Residents
  19. The confused transexual - The Residents
  20. Horizontal Logic - The Residents & Renaldo & The Loaf
  21. Sew Emotional - Whitney Houston
  22. My preference for both the behringer clone and the LMB-3 is to have all the knobs pointing north as it is easy to remember and sounds best to my ears. I use a Boss SY-1 synth which I guess is in a similar ballpark to your SYB-5. I have that pedal first in the chain with my thumpinator immediately after, the LMB-3 after that, and then a couple of dirt pedals last. Putting the synth first helped with it triggering smoothly and eliminating glitches.
  23. The Impossibe Dream - Andy Williams
  24. The Sleeper - The Residents
  25. Are we sure it isn't a clever parody video?
