  4. Maybe he should get a Squier classic vibe. They're pretty good these days.
  5. Baldhead - Professor Longhair
  6. When I was in a four-piece band which featured the number five in the name, a woman collected each of our autographs on a poster. She was clearly frustrated as we left as she was still looking for the fifth band member to complete the set.
  7. Blue Rosebuds - The Residents
  8. The Fender blues deluxe seems to be a pretty decent harp to start with considering it was thirteen quid. The blow & draw on all of the holes work and the tone/volume seems to be consistent. I believe these are made in China by Easttop for Fender—it looks to be a rebadged T10-3. It will be interesting to compare it to my old special 20 when I return home.

  14. I'm at the very beginning of my harp-playing antics. I've always liked blues harp and I have a Hohner Special 20 in C which I bought many years ago (before YouTube) which I never managed to play. I am 200 miles away from home for a few weeks and have suddenly become inspired to learn. I have Ben Hewlett's course on Udemy and have ordered a Fender blues deluxe harp in C from amazon which should arrive within the next couple of hours. If/when I progress further I will probably get a few more special 20s in other keys.

  20. That reminds me - Brandoni Guitars bought up the contents of the Eko factory years ago and had some acoustic bodies designed for bolt-on necks last time I was there, however the bsuiness has been closed since Roberto passed away in March last year and there is no indication of whether his family will be reopening the business.
  21. It's snot unusual - Tom Jones
  22. As Beedster said, the Fender Kingman has a jazz-like neck. Although the headstock and neck dimensions are like that on a jazz bass, the current MKII version has a typical acoustic-style set neck attachment with heel, but the older MKI version had a bolt-on neck with neckplate.
  23. Anus of Uranus - Klaatu
  24. Running like a Banshee - The Residents
