Sorry to hijack the thread, but I was wondering whether those of you with the Roland Bass micro cube RX could give an opinion on whether it would be loud enough to keep up with acoustic instruments (guitar / hand drums / accordion / vocals) for band practice sessions. If not, does anyone have an opinion as to what is the smallest, lightest amp that could?
Thanks!
For acoustic blues rehearsals with acoustic guitar, snare (played with brushes), harmonica & unmiked vocals, I play my ashbory basses through a little kustom tube12 guitar amp. I also have slightly larger BT15 crate bassamp (also with 8" speaker), the kustom sound much nicer to my ears (I can get a deeper sound out of it) but either is loud enough in an otherwise acoustic setting. It also copes well with my NS CR5M 5 string upright at a similar volume.
