  3. Social media companies should be made to take responsibility for scam advertising. They can afford it but they'd rather make obscent amounts of profit rather than spend the money on protecting their users.
  4. Brick House — Commodores
  5. Instant Crush — Daft Punk
  6. Here's my entry for this month: Woof! by Jinky Fuzz featuring Ralph. For this I used a Logic Pro Drummer, with Fender JMJ Mustang bass and Epiphone Les Paul Custom recorded via my focusrite 2i2 3rd gen interface. The Organ and FX are from logic's built-in plugins. A few Public domain doggie barking samples were played using Logic's simple sampler.
  7. Join In The Chant — Nitzer Ebb
  8. The twin truss rods were one of the two reasons that put me off rics for years — the other being the bridge. Now that there's an easily adjustable bridge and a two way single truss rod I had no reason not to buy a 2024 4003.
  9. I had a five string once. The B string came in handy as a thumbrest.
  10. I've had my Bass Centre branded hiscox Liteflite for well over twenty years and it is still in near-perfect condition. My '81 precision lives in it an says it is very comfy. Such a shame to see a universally well regarded company close its doors.
  11. Mash It Up Harry — Ian Dury & The Blockheads
  12. Buried In Ice — The Felice Brothers
  13. I joined May 17 2007, after being on bassworld. How time flies.
  14. The ones I got were generic chinese junk. The packaging said they were phosphor bronze, but they were actually bronze/brass.
  15. Motorway To Roswell — Pixies
  16. Welcome to the Jungle — Guns n Roses
  17. I bought a three set pack of 'd'addario' acoustic guitar strings from ebay a while back. They all had the same code number and were obviously fake when I compare the pagaging to a real set.
  18. What’s slug got to with it — Tina Turner
  19. As some couriers may not cover guitars, or the cost of insurance can be ridiculously high, once you have found a courier, you could have a look at insuring through secursus https://www.secursus.com/en-gb/ They cover international shipments as well as domestic. I have used them several times when sending within the UK with parcelforce, however I have not had to make any claims so I can't comment on that process.
  20. The Cheetah — Bob Kuban & The In-Men
  21. The Lemon Song — Led Zeppelin
  22. Mean Mr Mustard — The Beatles
  23. Sunny Afternoon — The Kinks
