The four I got were: The headstock decal is incorrect — for example the text "Made in USA" is too large, and it just looks wrong It has the wrong style of string trees (and there should be one, not two) The holes on the pickguard are not in the correct positions The darker fillet at the headstock in the truss rod access hole is much darker than the walnut fillet used in a genuine US made Fender. I think the quality of the pics is likely to be due to the CMS they're using. If it wasn't I'd have seenat least one pic on their website that didn't look like they were taken on Fred Flintstone's camera, but I haven't.

Not a bass, but this is listed as a Fender Stratocaster U.S.A 2012/2013. However I am 100% certain it is a rebadge CPoC (cheap piece of crap) https://www.cashconverters.co.uk/shop/music-tv--video/musical-instruments/guitars--string-instruments/electric-guitar/019300224392 I sent a polite email to the branch outlining what is wrong with it, so it'll be interesting to see whether they thank me for the information and withdraw it from sale, deny that it's a ringer, or just ignore the email. Even though the pics appear to have been taken with a potato as is nomal for this retailer, I can see four obvious indications that this is certainly not a a USA fender. Who would like to have a go at identifying these plus any additional clues?
