  1. I'd love to see this person's classical guitar
  2. Nitro *should* be easier to touch up than other finishes as each layer applied sinks into the previous due to the solvent in it.
  3. I really like the 40-95 set of cobalt flats on each of my thunderbirds. After at least three years they're still going strong I don't remember them feeling sticky or grabby, but I do keep my strings clean with dunlop ultraglide 65 string cleaner and conditioner — which is sold as an alternative to fast fret, and like fast fret is just scented mineral oil with a felt applicator, but being in liquid form in a bottle it doesn't dry out like fast fret. I've noticed that Thomann has the new short scale cobalt flats. I'm quite tempted to get a set for my Squier jag SS.
  4. I'd pick it off and bash the body about a bit to relic it so the solder mark doesn't stand out as the only bit of 'character' on the body.
  5. I don't wipe my strings off if they're having a holiday off a bass, but if I did, I'd use the same thing I clean them with when they're on a bass — mineral oil* Wipe on, wipe off. * I actually use Dunlop ultraglide 65 string cleaner & conditioner which is mineral oil + lemon scent aka lemon oil
  6. Is the description of the colour saying that tigers have orange blood, or is it that tigers like blood oranges?
  7. Warning — he has a deep passion for bass and bassists. I wouldn't go to his house if I were you.
  8. I fear the wink emoji may have been too small to register that my comment was made in jest
  9. This lot might be them: https://thebandpunch.com/ 😉 If so it looks like they've had a few lineup changes and none of the original members are left — as discussed in the Bands of Theseus aka Trigger's band thread
