  3. daal basmati rice naan bread onion bhajis samosas
  4. I have swapped out the pickguard for a Fender 11 hole 3 play black one and the plastics for a black Fender accessory kit. I had to wait a day before doing this as the screw holes for the pickups and switch in the original pickguard were countersunk, but they weren't in the replacement. I had the choice of either using a countersink bit on the new pickguard or ordering new round head screws. I ordered some screws from armstrong music yesterday and they arrived this morning. Couldn't resist this stratocaster t-shirt from sainsburys!
  5. My Fender Mustang GTX100 guitar amp is almost perfect. The emulations of top amps and pedals sound brilliant, and with the ios app to control it, it is very easy to use. I'm about to try using it as a USB interface in logic to overdub some guitar onto a track. As I went to plug the usb cable into the back of the amp I couldn't tell which way it has to go in. As it is micro USB, trying to force it in the wrong way will destroy the socket so I have had to refer to the manual to ensure I only apply push it when its in the correct orientation. Any other type of socket would be preferable to micro usb - old USB B or USB C would make so much more sense. Even the old mini USB would have been better as you can see which way it should go and it would be impossible to force it in the wrong way causing damage.
  6. I have a few things listed for sale on gumtree and I have received a few messages containing the text "Hi, is this still available?" after answering that it is I never hear from the person again. What's the game here? I expect there's some kind of scam being attempted, but what are these fools up to?
  7. Feeling Yourself Disintegrate - The Flaming Lips
  8. Ride A White Swan - T-Rex note: Do not attempt to ride a white swan - It will sink and result in a very irate swan. Don't ask me how I know this.
  9. Get one of these https://amzn.to/3pYyJE4
  10. Baldhead (She Ain't Got No Hair) - Professor Longhair
  11. Looks okay if you date it according to this guide: https://www.fuzzfaced.net/serial-numbers-stratocaster-japan.html
  12. Ferrari in a Demolition Derby - Trembling Bells & Bonnie 'Prince' Billy
  13. It doesn't create a good impression and may influence your future purchase decisions, so it doesnt make good business sense. I assume you bought it having seen online pics - did the pics show the grime?
  14. The lovely minty green scratchplate is going I'm afraid
  15. I couldn't resist the Andertons exclusive black fender vintera 70s hardtail stratocaster with custom shop '69 pickups so I placed an order over the weekend and it was delivered today. This is now easily my best sounding guitar - perfect with my GTX100 amp. It feels instantly familiar as the neck profile is very similar to my '72 reissue MIJ tele thinline. I wonder why a wiggle stick was included in the case candy though; I'll probably put that on ebay. I've already received a (genuine fender) black pickguard to go on it and I'm expecting a set of pickup covers, knobs & switch tip in black within a day or two.
  16. Let's hear it for the Boycott - Deniece Williams
  17. I believe the bass belonged to Del Palmer. It's a 70s Precision body with a 70s Jazz neck, a badass II & a bunch of other mods.
