  1. Although I usually wear them for practice or rehearsals, I can get away with not wearing my specs when playing gigs as long as I've printed out a large print version of the set list.
  2. Are You Sure Hank Done it This Way? - Waylon Jennings
  3. Ain't Nobody Here But Us Chickens - Louis Jordan
  4. Davy's on The Road Again - Manfred Mann's Earth Band
  5. In a previous band I had the responsibility for setting up the PA. Once everyone was set up we used to run through Steely Dan's 'Do it again' as I could play a simplified version of the bass line mostly one-handed allowing me to fiddle with the mixer at the same time. What does your band play at soundcheck? Do you play the whole song or just one verse/chorus to check the sound is okay?
  6. I think the tuners are original. I used to own a 1990 '62 RI MIJ which had the same tuners.
  7. This is cool, and looks like it'll be a bargain for someone. I'd probably be tempted myself if it wasn't for the area of finish missing on the back. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/175789400817
  8. Early 70s Musicmasters have cute little tulip-shaped tuners, the pickguard is a different shape at the end of the neck and the logo decal is toally different. Also a '72 wouldn't be black with a black pickguard. The serial starts S8 which suggests it was made between 1978 - 1981
  9. Someone has spent far too long whittling away at that poor Squier Affinity P Bass.
  10. Never seen that - what brand & where did you order them from?
  11. Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps Please - Splodgenessabounds
  12. 96 Tears - ? & the mysterians or this version by The Modadelics
