  1. I'm guessing that the thumpinator will still have some work to do as the hpf on the cali only acts on the sidechain, not the signal https://origineffects.com/2021/10/15/cali76-compact-bass-hpf-control-why-it-works/
  2. You'd probably need to be Freddie Krueger to make scratches like that on the pickguard. I suspect it still has the peel-off protective film in place and the actual pickguard underneath is okay.
  3. Between now and the new year I'd better stock up on anything I might want, as I plan on kidding myself I can abstain from buying any new gear in 2023.
  4. "Collection only due to the value of the pedal" As it no longer works as a pedal I think he means the value of the paperweight—which is probably about a tenner on a good day. In recent JHS video, there was a blind shootout between Josh Scott's original Klon and a £23 mini Mosky clone. in the admitedly unscientific test, the cheapy was deemed the better sounding pedal. I have the mosky on my guitar board and it certainly sounds good enough to me.
  5. I can't believe that urine love with me - Dinah Washington
  6. Just the thing for churning out Mustang Sally at the Dog & Duck
  7. The bass balls has a couple of trimpots inside to adjust the range and resonance of the effect, but the mooer bass sweeper is the same thing, but has a couple of extra knobs for these parameters, so that might be an option.
  8. In Stairway to heaven, Mr Plant definitely sings "Our shadows taller than ar$eholes"
  9. Nice! I would have bought one of these if I didn't already have a starfire II.
