5 years with my Jazz bass on a budget, thats my longest serving although my Alpher is for life as it was a b/day present to myself for managing to hit 50 without dying.

`70s/80s rock, Lizzy, Purple, Zep, Maiden, Motorhead etc my taste in music is still the same as well.

There arent any yet ive not had time unfortunately, still on with defretting the neck although my laminate has turned up.

Just found an Entwistle PBXN to go with the JBXN and a generic P, will get them boxed today.

I love the Vampyres, never had one but always wanted one.....wheres the pics?

for an extra £8 the JB40 has had excellent reviews, I would look at that model first, check out Cory Mura`s youtube channel for a review

Ive just seen that myself, i like the `its lighter to hold` comment, well yeah youve cut all the wood off it! Rest assured though, it comes from a `smoke and pet free environment` unfortunately not an idiot free environment!

Ive got one of the HB fanfrets and its a cracking bass, couple of minor issues with it when it first arrived (sharp fret ends and cheap tuners) but once sorted its a really good player, its also one of the first single cuts I actually like the shape of!

I had a Yamaha TRBX405 and I sold it as the B string on my Harley Benton Fanfret 5er is better :-)

The Mooer baby tuner does the low B very well
