1. I always slacken the strings through force of habit so that probably doesnt answer your question.
2. im thinking of getting mine painted again but better than I can do it and just a solid colour.
3. bloody hell that was quck! The one that I repaired was in a worse state than yours, it was missing frets, the bridge, pickups, and the string retainer it now sports an Schenker esque painjob, twin mm humbuckers and a self engineered string retainer, plays lovely, sounds massive and if you put a strap button just under the top radius sits nice and square on the strap.
4. I had a bit of a score yesterday in the form of a Badass II for £30 so I thought another pic of my Lynott bass wouldnt go amiss
5. Sorry, missread it i thought it was a loaded body. take me out of the equation, my mistake.
6. I looked into this last year but at the time thought it was too expensive to justify it on a Westone Quantum that id rebuilt myself, im actually going to see an airbrush guy in the morning with the same bass
7.
That must mean you don't like any music at all. LOL Blue
why?
8. Yeah but theres not just you WOT therese usually more for sale than being kept (at least on here), ive discussed the 66 bass thing with the mrs but I cant justify silly expense.
9. so why sell it? im sorry but this is the bit i dont get
10. Beatles are a load of tosh so I agree, then again so are the Stones
11. Nah im sorry I dont agree, if they were that good you wouldnt sell them simple as, there must be something that makes people want to sell them. Id love a YOB Jazz (but i cant afford a 66) this was probably my only option but why do so many get sold on?
12. How come there are so many Limelights for sale when the owners say `its the best bass ive owned` thats always baffled me.
13. Ive got an example of everything people dislike in my collection, from pointy headstocks to headless and basses with gold hardware and one that combines both....all i haven`t got is sunburst yup I dont like sunburst

Jazz

My original `Jazz bass on a budget` has gone a little over budget since i built it, still basically the same but a Hipshot Transtone bridge, Wizard 84`s and the very recent addition of a J retro have added to the budget, im really tempted to get a Status neck for it as well next year for my 50th.
