2. dont use wd40 its a water dispersant not a penetrating oil, use plus gas which you can get from most motor factors and is designed to get where fog cant!
3. Been offered said stack and was wondering what peoples thoughts about them was, my last encounter with Laney was an old 100w combo a guitarist had in 1990! Are they any good or should i stick to my Ashdown eb180 combo + 1x15 cab
4. We use a Behringer power amp for our pa and its been trouble free for over a year, that said i had 2 combo`s both of which died.
5. Bought Brians Silver Series Jazz body off him, no problems at all, totally trouble free transaction. A pleasure to do business with. Jeff
6. Looks great, slightly concerned about your bridge placement though, if its not in the right place then intonation goes out of the window, id make sure that its right asap other than that im loving the green and tort.
7. I'll second that about the entwistles.
8. Quality! ive a Quantum but i would like a rail to add to it.

13. Hollywood Nights bores the crap out of me, fortunately its disappeared from our set list now.
14. very nice, this isnt helping my white bass gas at all!
15. on the strength of my experience with the PBXN ive bought a pair of the JBXN to replace a pair of mim pups in a cv squier ive got knocking about, pickup balance at the moment is atrocious, neck is so much louder than the bridge and the g string is very weak, it will be interesting to hear the difference.
16. An old mate of mine sort of made it, i was classmates with a lad called Colin Archer who went on to perform with a skiffle outfit called Oasis or something, i even sang with his old band once.
17.
Have you experience of these yourself? If so got any sound bytes?
I do have experience of the Entwistle PBXN unfortunately i dont have any sound bites and also i dont have any other P pickup basses to compare it with other than the SPB2 that i took out in favour of this one. The Entwistle is quite a fair bit louder and to me it has more clarity and an even volume over the strings without going to any trouble of setting the poles, i found the D & G strings were lacking volume with the SPB2 even with that side of the pup unscrewed at a jaunty angle.
18. Before you splash out on an expensive pup give an Entwistle PBXN a try you might be pleasantly surprised by the quality.

20. Ive got an Spb2 with harness including push pull series/parallel that im going chuck in the for sale section very soon, ive swapped that out for an Entwistle pbxn and i have to say im very impressed with the entwistle.
21. Ive had two Behringer combos, both of which died, however most of my pedalboard is Behringer and ive just got a Behringer mic and i had a v-amp, i think if you steer clear of the combos there is some decent value for money gear to be had.
