    Our drummer uses a Roland electronic kit and it sounds good and packs away to next to nothing in no time, he has used it in the studio a few times as well as its just so easy to set up and get a good sound from. We had criticism after our first gig from the landlord who complained about the visual aspect of it but who goes to watch a drummer? we all know the women go to watch the bassist

    and today the plates were fitted, pups wired in and the bridge mounted, waiting for some new screws for the tuners then it will be all systems go.     Ok so I got this Jazz (99% its a Squier) off fellow BCer Owen (cheers Owen) which was shall we say tatty (im being kind here ) and had been defretted by a previous owner and painted green or was it black?? Anyway here it is as I got it. [url="http://s80.photobucket.com/user/jeffhop/media/IMAG0434_zps2be63dc8.jpg.html"][/url] [url="http://s80.photobucket.com/user/jeffhop/media/IMAG0436_zpse9aa9346.jpg.html"][/url] and here it is now after lots of elbow grease, swearing, sanding, more swearing and oiling [url="http://s80.photobucket.com/user/jeffhop/media/SNV80402_zps951f5389.jpg.html"][/url] [url="http://s80.photobucket.com/user/jeffhop/media/SNV80403_zpsd51d8385.jpg.html"][/url] the body is still to wax, the 80`s samick pups are to wire in, the tuners need re attaching and then it will be fitted with flats and played its not perfect but its pretty good..........then its up for sale as ive already got a fretless jazz so if anyone wants a cheap intro to fretless let me know

    would you consider a Hohner Jack custom as a trade? Not exactly `classic` but its got 2 jazz pups with an active option.

    some black strings would look awesome on that, especially with the white pickguard, i would string it then attatch the string tree, its very easy to get it badly out of line.

    its now fitted with GHS round wound strings as i realise flats arent to everyones taste

    Selling the Jack that i bought off a fellow BC`er psychoandy, its in really nice clean condition, comes in a bullet proof hardcase (with no handle) which unfortunately bumps the postage cost up cos it weighs a ton! unless of course your reasonably local then delivery be arranged. Everything on it works and it sounds really good with the adjustable preamp, its fitted with flats that are maybe 10 hours playing old. I would trade for an Epiphone Les Paul bass or any other Les Paul shaped bass object or a Flying V bass. Anyway here are the pics.
