I stuck a MM pup in the neck position of one of my Jazzes (bassdoc did the hard work ) and it sounds awesome

Im shortly to be on the receiving end of of a Hohner Jack off our own phsycoandy and was just wondering about peoples recommendations for flats for a heedless (im from the northeast) bass. price is a consideration too cos im skint (tight)

Ive had the same experience with Strings Direct, ordered one day here the next, cannot fault them

not trying to be funny or anything but the people who go on about the settings on the amp, why not just take a pic on your phone of your settings (everyones phone has a camera these days) and it would take seconds to restore your sounds...........................just saying

terrible.....just terrible started well, then the singer/guitarist made a few guffs in a couple of songs then pulled it back together after the song I sing and ended the first set on a bit of a high, second set...disaster......PA overheated about a minute into the first song and that was it...........dead, had to pack up under a cloud and drive the 50 miles home, pleased with my performance though on my second gig in donkeys years, oh well chalk it down to experience,

Apart from forgetting its my life i nailed it yay! :-)

First set went a storm :-) once initial nerves went, second set to go :-)

Well the sound check is done and we are on at 9.30 ooooerr :-s

oh my god its tomorrow night tuesdays rehersal was a bit of a disaster but at least we found out the pa sounds ok.

Only a week to go now, tuesdays rehersal went far better than sundays which was an unmitigated disaster in my opinion haha i actually remembered to play AND sing at the same time and have started to add backing vocals where im confident to do so (baby steps) now all we need to do is try out the pa weve bought and make sure it works!

thanks for the votes of confidence, yeah root notes is the way to go and as for learning the set list ive got them on a cd in the car and an mp3 player in the house and its all im listening to at the moment
