forgot to mention im doing vocals on one song as well, tried it for the first time today, vocals were ok but i forgot to play!

Got my first gig in a fortnight, the first one since 1998 and to say im bricking it would be an understatement, i didnt even own a bass from 1999 to 2011 now Ive sort of joined a band with the guitarist and former drummer of the originals band im in (weve not gigged yet!) and those two along with a keyboard player were in a band together doing covers.and now ive joined, i admit im not the quickest of learners cos im not very technically gifted but ive had to learn 28 songs from scratch in a month, some of which ive never even heard before and the thought of playing live is terrifying me!

mine was a Fender Bassman 100, it made a great practice amp for a bedroom but that was it, major letdown!

Ive got a Rockbass Streamer with the passive MEC `Classic Humbuckers` now ive never had a problem with it untill recently, it plays very nice with a good action but since ive put decent pickups in my other basses it seems to fall short a bit on the output side of things in other words its weak. ive noticed since getting back into playing after 10 years off that unless i get the strap length spot on my tennis elbow flares up in my left arm, i used to get cramp in my left hand which once left me playing over top of the neck at the end of a long set.

agreed its better than black plastic but.......................................................................ill hide now

Im not trying to be a stick in the mud or anything but would the control cover not have been better matched to the wood on the back of the body? the front looks gorgeous but the back looks like a bitsa sorry ill run and hide now.......
