1. Ordered an effects pedal from G4M. Despite it being shown as in stock, it took the best part of 8 weeks to arrive, all communication between us was initited by me. Saved a few quid by ordering through them, but the worry, delay and poor info just wasn't worth it.
 2.
Thanks for the quick reply Mark - a tad too heavy for me. Good luck with the sale. Rob. .
No worries mate, thanks for your enquiry and kind wishes. Regards, Mark
 3. Hi Pete, How're you doing mate? Must get down to see your band when I'm mobile. If it's a turbo diesel I might be interested as I travel 100 miles round trip a day, must do at least 50mpg. This will be the fourth car I've worn out in two years! Thanks for the thought, very kind of you. Regards Mark
 4. Hi Rob. It weighs 4.475 kg or 9.86 lb Regards Mark
 5.
I once asked a woman to help me get my car out of a difficult parking space she succeeded where I failed!
Honest post of the year award candidate!
 6. £1050, I'm unable to change the original posted price. Lady luck has once more placed a dainty foot in her ruby slipper and kicked me in the nadgers. I need to sell this beautiful instrument, as my car is severely broken. Very unhappy about selling, but, no transport, no job. The bass comes with a Hiscox hard case, strung with D'addario XL's and is as far as I know, un-marked. It looks more light blue than green to me, but very attractive non the less. PLEASE, NO TRADES. Cash, bank transfer only. Not willing to send abroad. I'd prefer collection, will post reluctantly and only in the hardcase inside a stout cardboard box. Difficult to deliver without a car!
 7. I've no wish to be rude and sympathise with your passion for playing. I've been on the receiving end of a noisy, inconsiderate neighbour (not that you are I'm sure). I almost had a nervous breakdown, which sounds dramatic but is no laughing matter. I arrived at work one morning, had no idea where I was, or what I was supposed to be doing and the really scary part was I couldn't remember driving there. All this was the culmulation of months of relentless noise and stress. I would never want to put anyone through what I went through. What may seem minimal to you, can cause tremendous stress without realising how it affects others. I'd go along with what most are saying, headphones or very low volume.
 8.
I have two squiers already but SERIOUSLY tempted by this ...... http://www.fender.co...ke-placid-blue/ These basses are going to be classics in a few years the quality is so good.
Oh thanks a bunch! Now I want one.

 10. The first Precision I bought was from Ken Stevens in Cambridge, 1998. Saw it in the window, tried it, fell in love with it, still own it. One I bought from an online store based in the USA. Hated it immediately upon opening the box, within a year sold it to another BassChatter (who is chuffed to bits with it.) I delivered it to him. Bought a Dingwall, new, sight unseen from Bass Direct. Excellent service from Mark. Beautiful instrument, found that after all the expense, I preferred a Precision. Sold it earlier this year to another BassChatter, delivered it and again, he's very happy with it. The other basses I have owned have all come from BassChatters, either collected or personally delivered and without exception, I've made a good choice. I much prefer to make my purchases from here at BassChat, every one of my transactions has been trouble free and, I've met some very decent people. However, I really enjoy visiting music shops, if I find what I'm looking for and funds allow I'd buy. Guess you can't beat a hands on approach.
 11. This might be of help. http://www.yell.com/s/music+studios+and+practice+rooms-hayes-middlesex.html
 12.
Someone must have told her you were the bass player. How else could she have failed to succumb to your charms?
I told her! Never stood a chance anyway.
 13.
"Take up bass. Chicks love bass players."

Only when they don't realise which one's the bass player.
"Don't think I'd recognise a bass guitar." Said to me Friday by a beautiful woman I tried (and failed) to chat up.
 14. Thanks to all involved with organising, especially Mrs H for the refreshments. Enjoyed the lectures and meeting you all. A very good day.
 15. Both Precisions and the Jazz I have, dating from 97-98, are, imo, excellent. No one who's tried them has ever said anything negative about them.
