6. Very funny
7. Good song and some nice bass playing, a little "Too busy" for my taste but very good all the same - well done.
8. I knew this thread was coming up last week
9.
How cool is this! Don't you dream of this sort of thing?! I can only imagine a second hand Volvo with Kit Richardson stencilled on the side at the moment.
Absolute quality LOL
10.
I think it would be good, but only if there was new material behind the tour. It's no good going out doing a past glory's shin dig.
That's a pretty fair comment I haven't heard any rumours about new material unless they've manage to keep it secret.
11. I say go for it, they're probably doing it for the love of their music as they probably don't need the money. There's a big enough fan base out there to sell out all over the world probably 4 times over. All music is relevant to some people regardless of it's age or genre, I like what I like and what I don't like I genuinely try to understand it, but respect it if I don't. I never saw Zep in the hay day, but this could be a chance for me to see them (although I have see Plant & Page).
12. Is it me or is that a really short scaled neck? I remember the John Birch "Rickenburcher"
13.
We tend to go for the original recorded version.
+1
14. That looks more confusing to me that learning a new bass line Have you ever stomped on the wrong pedal in a song?
15. Even I'm getting nervous just reading the thread!!! Good luck
16.
I went back once maybe 10 years later to see some or other punky type band. I do recall lots of bars and clubs with live music. Still the same, or changed much ?
The council/Police closed all the night clubs etc on the seafront about 10 years or so ago and moved them to a central location in the city centre so it's easier to police. Now, between the hours of 20:00 and 01:00 it's become on of the most violent streets in Britain The City has so much potential for things but the clowns that have been running it over the past 30-40 years have really screwed everything up. Oh well, still a nice place for a day/weekend visit though.
17. Hi Dave Welcome from another Pompey boy!! You've got some serious gear there! Love the sound of Ricky's (had 2 in the past) but found them buggers to play.
18. Should set up an "Open Bass amp" night somewhere?
