A while ago I built at 62 P bass replica and at the time I bought a Fender Chrome pickup cover but shorty after, discovered that the vintage ones very more squarer than the later curved ones made by Fender. I've been looking around to find a suitable version of the original vintage size, but to no avail. I did check out All Parts but the dimensions were similar to one I have. Does anyone out there in Basschat land know where I can source one from without a silly price tag attached to it? Many thanks in anticipation.

  9. I currently use La Bella deep talkin' flats but on my old fretless I used Fender Flats and they were awesome and cheap to.
  10. Squire Affinity P-bass neck including machine heads for sale £55 inc Postage in UK only. Good condition apart from a little ding on the edge but does not affect play-ability and looks worse on the photo (see pic below).

[/quote] Totally agree with this, the best band I've been in was led by the guitarist who wrote most of the songs but always allowed valid input except on the direction we were taking.
