    The split is actually in the Bridge surround, not the scratchplate. Tuesday bump for this lovely handmade fretless. Anyone who's come across Pauls work will be aware of the quality of his intruments....

    Looks like a great system. does the pickup have to be screwed into the Bass body for proper contact or can it be stuck on? Theres nothing I own that I would fancy drilling extra holes into.

    I was offered a Fullerton made stack knob reissue ten years ago for a grand. I walked away. I should have bitten the guys hand off. Oh well..... This is overpriced in my view but it will be there in a few more years.

    Stingray from the late 1970's. They later did away with the combo idea and rebranded the head on its own in the black and green livery. My first "real" Bass amp as it happens.

    I took lessons from the principal Double bass player with the Liverpool Philharmonic. Its well worth pushing yourself.
