Still having fun and enjoying it none the less

And thats the secret, don't be scared to enjoy it! -
The split is actually in the Bridge surround, not the scratchplate.
Tuesday bump for this lovely handmade fretless. Anyone who's come across Pauls work will be aware of the quality of his intruments.... -

Bought some P Bass parts from Dunc, great comms and fast delivery. A pleasure to do business with.

Looks like a great system. does the pickup have to be screwed into the Bass body for proper contact or can it be stuck on?
Theres nothing I own that I would fancy drilling extra holes into. -
I was offered a Fullerton made stack knob reissue ten years ago for a grand. I walked away. I should have bitten the guys hand off.
Oh well.....
This is overpriced in my view but it will be there in a few more years. -

Worth that money all day long. If I could afford the luxury of buying a second, I would. Have a saturday bump.

Stingray from the late 1970's. They later did away with the combo idea and rebranded the head on its own in the black and green livery.
My first "real" Bass amp as it happens. -

Lovely one of a kind fretless made by the North Wests Paul Everson.
Think this Bass was advertised on here a few years back. I bought in a private sale in 2011.
I do know the Bass was made in March 2010. Heres some specs from the man himself:
"A fretless 35" scale, this instrument features a unusually narrow neck (36mm wide at the nut and about 19mm thick at first fret) and a custom made humbucker from Bulldog.
The woods are African Walnut for the body, maple and ebony neck, figured french walnut, ebony and brass trim".
It has a hand wound custom humbucker by Bulldog pickups . Its passive with Vol/tone and a humbucker/single coil switch.
Its a bolt on neck, silky smooth finish on body and neck, the E on the headstock is inlaid brass, as are the sidemarkers.
Excellent condition all round except for the wooden bridge surround which has a split, and there are some scratches near the bottom strap button.
This bass retailed for over £800 in this spec in 2010
£450 or may trade for something interesting. Comes with hard case. -

The Blx range I think, I have a blx 150 sat on top of one of these in my front room! lol. Over kill? yes, for a home amp.

Not sure, think this predates the BLX series by a good few years... -
What was the combo? Never came across it.
